All resources will need to be moved across a complex web of depots to be used by your buildings (there are no magic central inventories here!), and placing your production chains too far apart could be the difference between the settlement’s life & death. You should build new houses to grow your settlement, but beware of hidden costs! If you can’t meet the needs of your population, your settlement may pay the ultimate price!
