This innovative app allows people with dementia and their loved ones to spend time together and awaken memories that lie deep in the past. Main features: - Customizable games: upload personal photos to the gallery to boost the patient's memories. - Difficulty levels: Games tailored to the severity of the disease. - Dementia-friendly design: A simple user interface based on the look of a wooden table to reduce fear of contact. - Common memory moments: Not only the brain training is in the foreground, but above all the interpersonal. Encourages conversation and connection. The games: - Reveal: Pairs of identical face down cards are revealed and must be matched correctly. - Memorize: A selection of images is presented that should be memorized. After that, a new selection will appear, containing an image from the previous one. The familiar image must be recognized. - Guess: A guessing game in which parts of the picture are revealed successively. The appropriate term must be selected from the suggestions before the entire picture becomes visible. - Search: Designed for advanced stages of dementia. A specific image is presented and must be identified among randomly arranged images in each new round. - Connect: Also suitable for advanced stages of dementia. Here, identical images must be found and linked together. - Recognize: An image is presented and the appropriate solution must be selected from the options given on the side. The game offers three different levels of difficulty. - Connect Numbers: Bubbles must be connected in ascending order of their numbers. There are also three levels of difficulty here. - Count money: A sum of money is displayed. The correct coins and banknotes must be tapped to reach the specified sum. - Count Boats: Different colored boats move across the screen. Boats of a specific color must be counted as they move from side to side. The idea came from the desire to support dementia patients and their families. The app not only aims to train the brain, but also to promote interpersonal relationships in particular. The heart of the app is the mission to bridge the gap between the sick and their relatives and to give them shared, valuable moments. Named after Auguste Deter, the first documented Alzheimer's patient, Auguste Spiele is a tool that helps keep the spirit alive and strengthens the bond between generations.
