Influent is a language learning game mainly for vocabulary and pronunciation learning. Originally developed by the Entertainment Computing Laboratory at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, with support from the Ministry of Education Scholarship Program. Inspired by the games of the Dreamcast (i.e. Shenmue and Toy Commander), Influent puts the player in a fully interactive 3D environment where the names of all the items to collect are just a click away! In fact, double-click to get more information! By tapping and holding each location, every door, drawer and cabinet can be opened to discover more to learn! Offering hundreds of authentically spoken audio clips (meticulously recorded specifically for this game), Influent also offers players a unique opportunity to learn words and sounds in the language of their choice.
