When I’m playing games, I don’t mind being a loser
This might sound strange, but one of my favorite things about video games is failure. It’s not that I like losing, exactly; I just appreciate having a safe environment to screw up in. The consequences of a game over are never very steep, so I’m free to experiment and take risks that might not pay off. That’s probably why I’m obsessed with games that are built around failure, like roguelikes. Some of

Steam users say this roguelike deck-builder is too hard - here’s why they’re wrong
I’ve been completely obsessed with Wildfrost since it came out, so I was surprised to discover it’s getting mixed reviews on Steam. According to reviewers, it’s wildly unbalanced. The heroes are too weak, the enemies are too tough, and the random elements make it impossible to build a solid deck. All of these things would be valid complaints, except for one teensy problem: they’re completely wrong.

(There's a video of this over here:: ) Otherwise! Hey Folks, Arlyeon here! I've been hard at work, even in my absence- and I recently got the opportunity to take a long at Shiny Shoe Entertainments recent project- a rather interesting title which meshes turn-based strategy, with Roguelite & MMO Elements. If you think that sounds weird, you're not alone- but you might be surprised to hear how -functional- it actually feels.
