Ultra Blade is a roguelike RPG where players wield massive weapons against impossible odds!

Hack n' slash your way through endless hordes of mutating enemies. Unlock and upgrade 1000s of hero and class combinations, each with their own unique looks and abilities. Every new character expands the available pool of in-game upgrades, making every run feel different.

What’s happening

It's a survival game where you have to defeat waves of enemies. It has a very good pixel art dark atmosphere. You get random upgrades after defeating some enemies possibly helping you defeating more enemies or survive longer. The gameplay loop is great and you can unlock other characters who have different weapons. The only issue with it are the controls; you drag your finger to move but the issue is that while you move you attack that limits your area of action in not a fun way. You can also tap for a heavy attack but you do this in the direction you are facing but remember you attack while you move so you may end up wifing the attack or get hit while doing the heavy were otherwise you wouldn't get hit. If you stay still you auto attack but again in the direction you are facing.

I absolutely love this game. I can get lost playing it. I also enjoy the Steam version of the game. I truly hope to see more added to it. I have logged so many hours playing this game.

Ultra Blade - An AMAZINGLY FUN Action Roguelike Game!

Ultra Blade just came out on mobile devices and I gotta say, this is a pretty entertaining game. Gameplay wise you have multiple heroes to choose from, once you unlock them of course. At the start of the game you can only play the first hero, who uses a giant great sword. The combat is pretty easy to get a grip on. You just have to move around the map with your thumb, and let go to do a powerful attack. You can find cache keys around the map, these can open the upgrade cache's to give you extra upgrades along with the standard upgrades you can choose from after leveling up.

My Review of Ultra Blade (plus me flexing my longest wave so far)

Love and enjoying Ultra Blade so far but I have one 'issue' with this game... And that is Ingots drop less when you have 10 or above currently possessed. I noticed it early on that Ingots start to drop less when you have 10 or above and the only way you'll be able to get more ingots, is to break records or have less than 10. (I'm typing this review to spread my issue with this to see if i'm the only one who has this issue or I am just unlucky) Anyways, please fix this, Game Devs.

Every new character expands the pool of in-game upgrades, making every run feel different. Verdict: This is another excellent "Vampire Survivor" type game to add to the list. While using Dark souls mechanics too, which makes this unique fun, and seeing what other crazy swords or characters you can unlock!
