Enjoy an in-depth trade system where you can buy and ship products from other colonies or undercut them buy producing the goods yourself. Your ships and warehouses have a weight and space that are important to keep in mind especially for longer journeys.
Position yourself to gain the advantage and strategically choose the most effective ammo type between shot, grape, and chain. When the ship has slowed prepare for boarding. Be aware of your actions as pirates and navy will do the same back.
Upgrade your buildings or build new ones and grow your colonies industry. Keep your people fed and happy so when you return from exploring you have something to return to and always remember to pay your taxes.
The AI will either be a pirate, navy, or a merchant changing how they act and impact the world creating a more realistic environment. Becoming a pirate may see yourself becoming hunted down while staying friendly to the crown will give you the navies protection.
