If you caught my post last week about The Legend of Zelda’s 35th birthday, you already have some idea what I’m about to tell you. For those who haven’t, I spent the last couple of weeks trying out a bunch of different mobile takes on the Zelda formula, and I walked away impressed with many of them. But there was one that stood far above the rest of the pack, a game I’ve continued obsessively playing every night since I first downloaded it, a game I expect I will be returning to for months and maybe even years to come. Guardian Tales is a mobile action-adventure game developed by Kakao Games. The game takes players on a journey through diverse and colorful worlds where they must battle monsters, solve puzzles, and explore hidden secrets. The gameplay is a mix of single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing players to team up with other players to take on challenging dungeons and bosses. The graphics are charming and whimsical, featuring pixel art-style graphics that are sure to please retro gamers. With an engaging story and plenty of content to explore, Guardian Tales is a game that is sure to provide hours of entertainment for players of all ages!

I only started playing Guardian Tales today, but so far I am loving the game!   You start off as a brand new knight, in a fight to protect the castle that is currently under siege by enemies, and in a perilous situation, you may choose between personality types, and male and female gender types for your knight, as well as your own unique name. As the game progresses on it introduces you to the movement and fighting mechanics of the game, as well as how to acquire small amounts of treasure present in the map with signs that you can read giving helpful hints that are pretty self explanatory if your familiar with mobile games.
