For those who haven’t, I spent the last couple of weeks trying out a bunch of different mobile takes on the Zelda formula, and I walked away impressed with many of them. I only started playing Guardian Tales today, but so far I am loving the game!   You start off as a brand new knight, in a fight to protect the castle that is currently under siege by enemies, and in a perilous situation, you may choose between personality types, and male and female gender types for your knight, as well as your own unique name. As the game progresses on it introduces you to the movement and fighting mechanics of the game, as well as how to acquire small amounts of treasure present in the map with signs that you can read giving helpful hints that are pretty self explanatory if your familiar with mobile games.
