This game is a hidden treasure amongst gacha games. I think what's most interesting about it is there's two seperate games within it, the level based one and the story mode. I love the story mode the most because of how your choices can affect the narrative and might get different endings, there are so many routes to explore in the story each having unique character interactions and beautiful cinematic cutscenes. I absolutely love the animated cutscenes scattered here and there, and the characters are absolutely charming.

This was a fun game, brought back that feel from classic SRPGs while having beautiful spritework. Some of the battles are too simplistic, but I get that it's for newcomers to the genre. The story had an interesting direction but felt like I was being gated from continuing. The character builds are interesting and even lower tier characters are genuinely viable in combat if not necessary.

Good story. It has a mode with a very original concept, but gets old very fast once you finish it once. The battles are very challenging and too gimmicky for my tastes. I didnt like the characters, except some chads like Teadon or best girl Beryl

such a shame

Sword of Convallaria is a beautiful RPG with stunning pixel graphics and fantastic characters. Unfortunately, it’s stuck in a gacha game format. Clearing story mode is doable even without legendary units, but having them is preferable since many of them are game-changers. The resources needed to upgrade your units and their weapons are pretty fair, and dungeons are easy to clear with the right team. My only real issue with the game is the energy system. I can understand dungeons requiring energy, but why do events need it too? Events should have a separate system, like tickets or something similar. I wanted to clear out the current event since there are only a few days left, but I couldn’t because the energy I wanted to use for the event was always spent farming upgrade materials for my units. I wanted to stick around, but the energy system is a major turn-off. The game is still beautiful, and I wouldn’t even mind paying real money if it were a full game. Sadly, it’s not, which is such a shame. Gameplay - 10/10 Characters - 10/10 Story - 10/10 Give it a try.

Very good game so far and it's the first game with a gacha sort of system im playing and it's a very nice art style too! The game does seem a bit complicated for a first time player and I am a bit confused by everything but I hope it becomes easier to understand! 8/10

Was not a fan of the bulk of the game being some time rift fighting phantoms. Why should I care about the fate of some people if it doesn't affect me? Also wish I could turn units facing after movement. Quit playing after a few hours.
