Game company Nexon recently made a $400M investment in AGBO, the film company founded by the award-winning directors Anthony and Joe Russo, best known for MARVEL films like Avengers: Infinity War.
Jason Bergsman, CEO of AGBO, said that they are going to "do something new" with Nexon.
According to VentureBeat's report, AGBO wants to expand its film and digital media experiences, and with the help of Nexon, to create "a new kind of reverse transmedia, where gaming inspires movies."
Meanwhile, AGBO can assist Nexon with its film and television strategy and extend its gaming IP into the U.S. markets.
MapleStory, KartRider Rush+ and Dungeon Fighter Online are some of the most famous gaming IPs of Nexon. Are we going to see film adaptations based on these games one day?

And I agreed nexon is mystery and it's gaunik big I understand but this is just a little rant with all the recent news we’ve been getting nexon really is starting to seem like an incompetent company. It seems as though they are trying to remove everything that players like about the game. It’s no wonder player rates are dropping.

Notoriously, this film was so bad that fans have waited thirty years for Nintendo to take another shot at Mario on the big screen. That shot is finally here in the form of The Super Mario Bros. Movie. People have died waiting for this thing, so it has high expectations, to say the least.
