I have been playing the Chinese version of Arknights since 2019. It’s still my favorite tower defense on mobile!
Have to admit that the reason why I started to play Arknights is simply because all the characters look fabulous. But this game is not just some waifu/husbando collectors. It's more than that.
One thing I love about Arknights is its one-of-a-kind UI design. It really suits the game’s sci-fi/post-apocalyptic worldview.
The soundtrack is also brilliant. People often tease that Hypergryph is a music company lol.
The gameplay needs you to deploy the Operators on the battlefield strategically. Each of them is of a different class and has unique skills. So, it’s essential to think twice before placing them.
And finally, those stunning character illustrations. Man…look at them!! *shut up and take my money*
People often complain about the writings in Arknights. So do I. Some dialogue is very wordy and does not make much sense. I am quite curious about how the localization is done in other languages.
