I haven't tried Vector untill I can get hands on the proper game: Vector Full (previously Vector Classic), and that is a brilliant idea. No ads, no restrictions, unlimited money and skills, just a game you can enjoy without interruptions.
Visual wise, like other Nekki's release at that time, is following Shadow Fight's style. It's so iconic I think that what makes Vector stands out. Like you know it's Nekki's work behind it, which is...an abandoned style today. It runs on anything too at maximum framerate so you can always enjoy their beautiful fluid-smooth animation.
As for gameplay. It goes both ways: you either feels it's too easy because you don't care 3 starred every level, or it's too hard for you because you want every level to be 3 starred. I fall on the later category so ... Yeah.
Like it's amazing and feels good to have these sick movement going across building and stuff. But at the same time some times my input isn't registered as I'd hoped. Like for example sometimes the special move that requires swipe up gestures didn't activate despite the swipe up we're registered and so my character just jumped, instead of actually doing the special move. It happened a lot and if you're 3 star guy like me it's just infuriating.
Yet, there aren't much to do in the game. The reason for me is that the new mechanic isn't introduced that often so it feels... Kinda boring to a certain point. Sure there are hunter mode, but basically it's like regular mode but you have to make sure you do different moves without failing/faltering even a tiny bit so you can success the levels.
Oh there are also bonus levels. A LOT of bonus levels. Which are the best rendition of the levels anyone can come up with. But in the end it's just harder kind of running around.
Honestly I said it without that much excitement because I thought I'll see some bit of fighting using some tool or something. Or at least the company will help us do some certain timed input to save ourselves. Or idk, there are many other stuff they could've implemented that I think just... All missed opportunities.
Conclusion:
Amazing game that makes you feel parkour. If you're only searching the parkour stuff, this game fulfill you the best. But if you're searching more mechanic that makes this more thrilling and action-like, this didn't have them yet.
