If you’ve played Project Stars before, you’ll be surprised by how far it's come under the new name Auroria. This game has gone through some serious evolution—not just in its name but in content, gameplay, and vibe. And as someone who enjoyed the original (despite its flaws), I’ve got some thoughts to share.
What is Auroria?
Auroria is an online multiplayer open-world survival game set in space. Imagine Palworld, No Man’s Sky, and Pokémon mashed into one sci-fi package. You land on unknown planets, collect and train alien creatures, build your own base, explore planets, and even ride your pets like mounts.
You can capture alien creatures using a cube (kind of like a sci-fi Pokéball), fight side-by-side with them, assign them to work, and evolve them. These pets aren’t just cosmetic—they’re part of your survival strategy. That already makes the gameplay more dynamic than it used to be.
Core Gameplay Highlights:
Pet System: One of the most unique and enjoyable features. You can collect alien pals, ride them, send them to work on your farm, mine, or help you in battle. It gives the game a mix of Palworld and Ark: Survival Evolved.
Building and Crafting: Construct homes, tools, weapons, farms, and even full infrastructures. You have creative freedom to build a space paradise—or at least try to survive on one.
Exploration: Open maps with various planets to discover. You can scan resources, face hostile environments, and encounter different biomes, black holes, wormholes, and more.
Combat and Survival: Hostile aliens, weather systems, and rival players keep you on your toes. You’ll need weapons, suits, and a good survival strategy to thrive.
Online Multiplayer: You’ll see other players, build together, trade, or just flex your base and pets. It adds replay value and social dynamics that make the world feel more alive.
Personally, I liked Project Stars for its relaxing solo gameplay, but it always felt a bit empty. Auroria improves that with livelier gameplay and multiplayer elements. Taming pets, building your home, farming with your creatures—it actually feels like a living world now. (after a player take a final shot on chuchu that i capturing) (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻
However, I have to be honest—the game is not friendly for low-end devices. My phone got hot during long sessions and there were frame drops in more populated or detailed areas. If you have a newer phone, you’ll probably have a much smoother experience.
✅Pros:
Deep pet system with real gameplay value
Fun multiplayer mechanics and co-op building
Huge variety in crafting and base design
Engaging exploration and survival systems
Beautiful graphics and vivid world-building
🚩Cons:
Not optimized for low-end or mid-range phones
Occasional lag and frame drops in busy zones
Some systems (combat/building) still feel a bit rough around the edges
Early game can feel grindy without proper guidance
Final Verdict: Should You Play Auroria?
If you're into survival, crafting, and creature collecting in a sci-fi online world, Auroria is absolutely worth trying. It's not a perfect game, but it’s come a long way and feels alive with potential. Whether you’re building a cozy base with friends, hunting down rare pets, or just exploring unknown galaxies—there’s plenty to love here.
Just keep in mind that it’s still evolving, so expect patches and updates. If you’ve got a decent device and some patience, Auroria might just become your next go-to space adventure.
