Marvel Snap's new Conquest mode gives hardcore players a more intense challenge

This week Marvel Snap received arguably its biggest update since launching last year. In this major patch, developer Second Dinner introduced the game's first new competitive mode, known as Conquest. While I've spent well over a hundred hours playing games of Marvel Snap in its traditional mode and building my collection, I was excited to see what a new mode would look like. After spending several hours with Conquest mode tonight, I can confirm that it's an awful lot of fun, especially for players who are already deeply invested in the game, even if it's nothing

A fun post-apocalyptic building game——《Dawn Restart: Survival》

Game Name: Dawn Restart: Survival Platform: Android, iOS Genre: Simulation, Card, Role-Playing I've been searching for a simulation and building game that I can truly get into, but I've tried many simulation games, and none of them satisfied me. That was until I discovered this game, a post-apocalyptic simulation and management game that combines elements of role-playing and card games. If you, like me, enjoy simulation and management games, or if you're a fan of role-playing games, you absolutely must give this game a try!

In this cozy gacha game, you collect human versions of your favorite foods

The Tale of Food is a cozy gacha RPG that, true to its name, revolves around food. It's set in a universe where the most delicious meals take on human form and become "Food Souls." As the heir of the Food God, it's your job to protect these human delicacies and travel the world in search of more souls. Lots of gacha games revolve around collecting waifus, but the collectible characters in Tale of Food are male. You can even give them gifts, which makes it feel a bit like an otome game. Some Food Souls have great designs, but I never felt pressured to spend money to collect more characters. I was able to build a solid party through standard gameplay.

This game is truly amazing in its mechanics, style, and sounds. It's more than just a card game, it features special jokers that significantly affect gameplay. With different jokers in each hand, each round feels unique. It can be a little hard to grasp at first, but you'll get the hang of it very quickly, and once you do, it's definitely addictive. It's never boring; you should definitely play it.

Dancing Duelists doesn’t have the depth of Slay the Spire, but it’s still a rockin’ good time

Unity’s game engine has historically been popular with indie developers, but recently announced fee changes sparked massive backlash. They eventually walked back some of the changes, and the CEO stepped down, but most game devs aren’t interested in working with Unity in the future. What can they do? Well, if you’re Mega Crit, the team behind Slay the Spire, you can spend three weeks learning a new engine and put out an awesome free deck-builder.

This game is great in the best of card game. Not only can you upgrade your cards to look more shiny and cool. But add more signs like pixels or toon versions of said cards as well. And best of all if you do upgrade your cards you still have the same effects as every other version of the card no matter the level. So fair battles with each player and mostly some RNG to make a master piece of a game

SHOULD I PLAY YI XIAN: THE CULTIVATION CARD GAME? Play it, especially if you like card games. Yi Xian: The Cultivation Card Game merges the complex, deck-building fun of card games with the strategic gameplay of auto-chess titles to create an experience similar to Hearthstone’s Battlegrounds mode. While a few localization issues might make Yi Xian a little hard to understand, its terrific deck-building, auto-battler gameplay is more than enough to make up for it.

Steam users say this roguelike deck-builder is too hard - here’s why they’re wrong

I’ve been completely obsessed with Wildfrost since it came out, so I was surprised to discover it’s getting mixed reviews on Steam. According to reviewers, it’s wildly unbalanced. The heroes are too weak, the enemies are too tough, and the random elements make it impossible to build a solid deck. All of these things would be valid complaints, except for one teensy problem: they’re completely wrong.

When I receive a FREE activation code?!

Indies’ Lies is what you might call a Spire-like. It takes the shape of Slay the Spire, then adds a few new twists to the formula. Some of these work, some of them don’t, but the end result is an engaging card-based dungeon crawler that’s easy to get addicted to. The game sees you traversing a dungeon, picking your route along a path littered with fights, events, shops, shrines and bosses. When you get in a scrap you use your deck of cards to attack and defend. Take down the enemies and you can move onto the next room.

The Free Demo of an interesting New Roguelike Deckbuilder Game

First of all, Hadarot has a funny pixel Art style which is really cool and also card abilities which are quite fun and random. In Hadarot you'll fight religious and mythological creatures in each run. At the start, you select one of the 2 character to start with, who have different decks, however, you will be able to buy and sell your cards, improving your deck over time. There are 5 types of cards, but the 2 most important are troops cards and passive ones. With the first one you can attack the enemy (The cards that you can see in the left of the table, like the ghost). Passives are card that apply different effects for the rest of the run, like making animals cards stronger or cards that have guns shooting twice.

THE PERFECT MIX OF CHINESE CULTURE AND STRATEGY!

This was a pleasant surprise for a free-to-play game based on Chinese mythology, including strategy card battles in PvP and a few PvE moments. It's not a deck builder, but rather a use what you get kind of deal, which makes it ten times more exciting when you pull off an unexpected great combo and don't have to worry about META slaves ruining your day with the same annoying powerful cards. You have nothing to lose; this game is free and ready for you to play at any moment, so go have some fun!

SHOULD I PLAY COMBO CARD CLASHERS? Definitely give this demo a try, especially if you like card games. It's a clone of Hearthstone's Battlegrounds mode, but it's still really fun and worth playing

Tavern Brawl doesn’t really hide anything; it’s a clone of Hearthstone’s game mode called Battlegrounds. Tavern Brawl is an auto battler card game that doesn’t feature anything majorly creative or innovative to make it unique, but that doesn’t mean it’s terrible. Despite being a clone, Tavern Brawl is still a lot of fun and worth playing. Why? Because it’s basically Battlegrounds! As someone that’s spent hundreds of hours playing

A card game in beta that's worth checking out

I've played dozens of online card games in my life, but the genre is getting quite stagnant to say the least. Mobile card games especially tend to oversimplify what was simple to begin with, so I thought I would never find anything new in this category of games. But I found this one - Epic Card Battle 3. What's good about it 1) Card stats The first thing that catches the eye is the abundance of stats on cards. In primitive card games you have only the standart - power, toughness, tribe, cost and effect. I like complexity in games, but even I was pleasantly surprised how the cards look here. Apart from regular stats, creatures here have - action speed, class, damage type, resistances, faction and race which are separate, different layers of defence and so on. The number of variables on each card increases number of ways to make cards different and unique which is the core element of any TCG.

Rebuild an occult library in this chill follow-up to Cultist Simulator - Book of Hours Quick Review

SHOULD I PLAY BOOK OF HOURS? Play it if you’re a fan of Cultist Simulator or like complex games with unique mechanics. Book of Hours is an odd and fascinating game with a Lovecraftian narrative. It’s technically a deck-building RPG, but there are no battles with monsters or trips through dungeons. Instead, you play as a librarian working to rebuild an occult library. The gameplay can be pretty confusing, especially if you haven’t played

GREAT COMBINATION OF GACHA AND CARD COLLECTION.

This game has such a nice feel to it. You can tell it's polished off well and has direction. If this game get's regular updates, to keep things interesting, then you got a cracker of a game. 🎮 Gameplay: It's a gacha and card collector. The gacha rates are fair and even the value of packs, should you want to spend, are very well priced. I've played the game free to play and haven't had any issues with clearing the story or the side challenges presented. Basically, you select a God, each God has different abilities, then you play the story to gather cards which are your abilities. These cards form your deck which will act as your God's skills in battle. You also have passives and side skills that boost your decks ability such as mana regeneration or swapping your hand for another hand. Also, yes this game uses mana to cast abilities. Your chosen skills/cards each have a mana cost assigned to them. The battle system is very fluid and tactful and should keep your interest, however, I'm still quite early in the game so I can't talk about PvP, or even if it has PvP, but I am hooked and give this game the props it deserves.

What happens when Slay the Spire goes anime? Check out this amazing deck-builder with cute waifus

SHOULD I PLAY YOHANE THE PARHELION? Definitely play this demo. Yohane the Parhelion - Numazu in the Mirage offers all the fun of a standard roguelike deck-builder like Slay the Spire or Wildfrost, but it adds its own twist with a well-made story about a fortune-telling witch trying to escape the mirror world. I’m already looking forward to playing the full version of this exceptional adventure once it launches on February 21, 2024.

Masterful Strategy Meets Stunning Pixel Art in Duelyst

I've got a tough decision in the game: should I put my minion in front of my general or behind it? Putting it in front of you since it's closer to the enemy general, who'll probably try to escape. But if I put it behind my general, I could block their potential escape route. It sounds simple, but one wrong move could cost me the game. I ended up placing it behind and now have to decide whether to attack their general with mine.
