One sentence to summarize the quality of the game: This is the only game to actually get me to cry at a story and character deaths. The game is a realistic feeling and look into a torn apart world. Most characters react in a way you expect them to, no matter how gruesome it gets. Even if you have watched someone play this game, it is something you have to experience for yourself. 10/10 would cry again

Ever wish that Disco Elysium had more minotaurs and more steampunk? Check out Sovereign Syndicate

In 2019, Disco Elysium took the gaming world by storm and showed how RPGs could focus much more on storytelling and do a much better job of emulating the feeling of playing at a tabletop. Now we're just starting to see the first wave of games that seem clearly inspired by Disco Elysium, and this one just might be the first must-play RPG of 2024. This is Sovereign Syndicate, a CRPG being made by a small indie team in Canada. Like Disco Elysium, it's an RPG that's more heavily focused on narrative and dialogue, but it also sets itself apart in some key ways. For one, it's got a unique Victorian steampunk setting that looks absolutely fantastic. Fantasy creatures like minotaurs, dwarves, and cyclopes are mixed together with grimy factories, smokestacks, and zeppelins. And it all takes place in London!

As a big fan of Witcher 3 and the card game within the game I love the GWENT mobile game. Now ALSO as a fan of roguelites, adding that into the GWENT structure is a brilliant idea where each run, EVERY choice matters. Restore mana or get a card? Level up your wizard or snag that legendary beast that fits well into your deck? #Bestchoicebasedgames contender for sure.

The Life is Strange devs shift from reality to fantasy - Harmony: The Fall of Reverie Quick Review

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it if you’re a fan of visual novels or narrative-driven games. Harmony: The Fall of Reverie is a choice-based game from the developers of Life Is Strange, and while it doesn’t quite capture that game’s slice-of-life magic, it still tells a rich and fascinating story. Set in the not-too-distant future, Harmony follows Polly, a seemingly ordinary woman who returns to her hometown after her mother goes missing. Before she can start her search, Polly discovers that she’s actually an oracle that can travel to a magical realm called Reverie and see the future before it unfolds. Now, she must use her newfound power to make tough decisions and restore balance to two very different worlds.

FMV games are the perfect way to solve a good mystery

I’ve always had a special place in my heart for mysteries. There’s a puzzle-solving element to a good whodunit that makes it feel like a game, even when I’m actually reading a book or watching a movie. The best mysteries are a challenge between me and the detective, and they’re a blast to experience, even if I’m the one that loses. Lately, I’ve been keeping myself busy with The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story

The game where we all played, most of us, and the game's been gone for 2 decades i think, there are horror, casual, PvP, shooter, Tycoons, etc. Although the game's great i think the graphics a little bit simple, and i can't play on my pc, but all thoughts, opinion, i think this game gets a 4, the creativity is endless, let the age match the experience, but sometimes there's kids in vc's.

When you reach that cabin, you’ll find a princess, and when you meet her, a mysterious voice tells you that she’s destined to end the world. Will you slay her, or will you save her? It’s a simple enough question, but somehow, the game stretches it to endless possibilities. What happens if you start to save her, but change your mind? What if you don’t go to the cabin at all?

The Lifeline series is definitely one of the best choice-based games on mobile. I like the first one the most. Players will communicate with Taylor through real-time messages to guide him to survive a spaceship disaster. The dialogues are well-written. A truly immersive interactive experience.

This mix of Dungeons & Dragons and gacha is like a much better Raid: Shadow Legends

I've probably played and reviewed at least two or three dozen different gacha games at this point, but every once in a while I still manage to be really surprised and impressed by one. Dragonheir: Silent Gods is one of the most immediately intriguing and captivating gacha games I've played in ages, and one that I'm definitely planning to stick with. The first thing to know about Dragonheir is that every part of it is openly inspired by tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons. In fact, the PC version of the game has even done an official collaboration with D&D! In gameplay that terms, that means characters inspired by classic western fantasy, challenging tactical battles, and

Roto Force: A High-Energy Shooter with Fast-Paced Action and Retro Charm

"Roto Force" is like a high-energy rollercoaster wrapped in a top-down shooter package. If you've ever wanted a game to fry your brain in the best possible way while keeping you glued to your screen, the game is your jam. The premise? Simple. You're a tiny hero tasked with blasting through enemies across crazy, rotating levels. Each stage has unique themes, enemies, and hazards, so there's no room for boredom here. The gameplay revolves around you zooming in a circular arena, dodging bullets, and dishing out chaos. It's fast, chaotic, and oh-so-satisfying when you nail a level after a dozen tries.

Game of Thrones on your phone? Court intrigue game Yes, Your Grace is now on mobile

SHOULD I PLAY YES, YOUR GRACE? Check it out if you like choice-based games and court intrigue. Yes, Your Grace is a kingdom management RPG where you respond to requests from your loyal—and not-so-loyal—subjects. There aren’t enough resources to give everyone what they need, and that means making some tough decisions. If you’re a fan of Reigns or similar titles, you should definitely give this a try.

Starfield is a buggy, frustrating mess, but I love it anyway

Starfield is a pile of mismatched puzzle pieces that don’t quite fit together. That might sound like harsh criticism, but there are plenty of times when its disjointed nature works in the game’s favor. There are a million things to do in Starfield at any given point in time, so when one aspect of the game wasn’t working for me, I could just focus on something else. Directing my attention towards a specific gameplay mechanic or subplot usually made

This might be the darkest visual novel we've ever seen

Everyone knows how fairy tales are supposed to go: The princess is kidnapped and locked away in a dungeon, and a brave hero comes along to save her and defeat whatever great evil was keeping her captive. Except what if it wasn't that simple? What if it was the princess herself that was the great evil? That's the question being asked by Slay the Princess, the upcoming visual novel from developer Black Tabby Games. In this game, you play as the brave hero, of course, but as the title suggests, you've actually been sent to
