One of the most challenging decision games that I have ever played. My decisions resulted in the survival of significant characters in the story.    It had tested my mind and my emotion pretty well.  I would highly recommend this to everyone!

A beautifully illustrated RPG about the grim realities of life during war? Sign us up!

One of the great things about video games is that they can cover so much territory. Take RPGs for example. You've got high fantasy escapism in series like Final Fantasy, epic sci-fi dreams of the future in stuff like Mass Effect, and strange musings on philosophy and politics in a game like Disco Elysium. Long Gone Days doesn't quite fit into any of those categories, though it's closest to the last one. This ambitious RPG follows a young man named Rourke who's been trained from birth to be a living weapon of war. Once Rourke is actually sent into battle, though, he finds himself conflicted as he comes face-to-face with disturbing realities of wartime.

The Life is Strange devs shift from reality to fantasy - Harmony: The Fall of Reverie Quick Review

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it if you’re a fan of visual novels or narrative-driven games. Harmony: The Fall of Reverie is a choice-based game from the developers of Life Is Strange, and while it doesn’t quite capture that game’s slice-of-life magic, it still tells a rich and fascinating story. Set in the not-too-distant future, Harmony follows Polly, a seemingly ordinary woman who returns to her hometown after her mother goes missing. Before she can start her search, Polly discovers that she’s actually an oracle that can travel to a magical realm called Reverie and see the future before it unfolds. Now, she must use her newfound power to make tough decisions and restore balance to two very different worlds.

Starfield is a buggy, frustrating mess, but I love it anyway

Starfield is a pile of mismatched puzzle pieces that don’t quite fit together. That might sound like harsh criticism, but there are plenty of times when its disjointed nature works in the game’s favor. There are a million things to do in Starfield at any given point in time, so when one aspect of the game wasn’t working for me, I could just focus on something else. Directing my attention towards a specific gameplay mechanic or subplot usually made

FMV games are the perfect way to solve a good mystery

I’ve always had a special place in my heart for mysteries. There’s a puzzle-solving element to a good whodunit that makes it feel like a game, even when I’m actually reading a book or watching a movie. The best mysteries are a challenge between me and the detective, and they’re a blast to experience, even if I’m the one that loses. Lately, I’ve been keeping myself busy with The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story

Our heads are already pounding from the insane puzzles in The Talos Principle 2

Your eyes do not deceive you. The Talos Principle 2 might be one of the prettiest games releasing this year, but it's got much more than looks going for it. This brain-busting puzzle game is sure to leave players scratching their heads and fist-pumping in triumph as they work through its many riddles. If you missed 2014's The Talos Principle, it was a shockingly great first-person puzzler—shockingly because it was created by Croteam, a developer most well-known for its very-much-

Danganronpa fans, take note: A new killing game is about to begin!

We're huge fans of the twisty storytelling and gruesome deaths of the Danganronpa series of visual novels, but there hasn't been a new mainline entry since 2017's Danganronpa V3. With that in mind, we're starting to look elsewhere to get our fix of kidnapped innocents placed into a dastardly game of death. Luckily, we don't have to wait much longer for a game that looks like it might just fill that void.

One sentence to summarize the quality of the game: This is the only game to actually get me to cry at a story and character deaths. The game is a realistic feeling and look into a torn apart world. Most characters react in a way you expect them to, no matter how gruesome it gets. Even if you have watched someone play this game, it is something you have to experience for yourself. 10/10 would cry again

The Lifeline series is definitely one of the best choice-based games on mobile. I like the first one the most. Players will communicate with Taylor through real-time messages to guide him to survive a spaceship disaster. The dialogues are well-written. A truly immersive interactive experience.

A fun game to play. The game is made by Telltale games so its a story mode game and you are offered many options during the game and each choice leads to a different outcome. The game consists of five episodes that were released throughout 2013 and 2014. In the game, you control Bigby Wolf, the sheriff of Fabletown , a community within 1980s New York City made of various fantastical characters from fairy tales and folklore. You  must investigate a series of mysterious murders; the first ones to occur in Fabletown in a long time...

NOBODY WANTS TO DIE - A THRILLING DETECTIVE NOIR

While it may be a little too slow and boring for someone hoping for extremely exciting and heart-pounding action and fighting, it's still a terrific experience for those searching for something more paced out with engaging narrative voice acting when it comes to investigating mysterious cases with the futuristic 1940s aesthetic. This mix of Dungeons & Dragons and gacha is like a much better Raid: Shadow Legends

I've probably played and reviewed at least two or three dozen different gacha games at this point, but every once in a while I still manage to be really surprised and impressed by one. Dragonheir: Silent Gods is one of the most immediately intriguing and captivating gacha games I've played in ages, and one that I'm definitely planning to stick with. The first thing to know about Dragonheir is that every part of it is openly inspired by tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons. In fact, the PC version of the game has even done an official collaboration with D&D! In gameplay that terms, that means characters inspired by classic western fantasy, challenging tactical battles, and

Warzone mobile is the best game of 2023

Warzone mobile is the best game uploaded in 2023, the graphics are absolutely gorgeous, the game runs great on my HTC Thunderbolt absolutely crushes the perfromance I got on my Acer Aspire 5743 when playing on the PC version. It even looks better than the PC version did on my Acer laptop! I cannot believe just how bad PC Games are!The gunplay is great and is far superior to that of the PC version, infact all of the mechanics are better than that "Game." The game has a lot of cool cosmetics that look better on the mobile version than on the PC version too. It is better than the Tencent Crap that is Codm mobile, it even runs better and looks better than that.I would recommend this game to any true mobile gamer.

A roguelite deckbuilding dungeon-crawler. Better than other deck-building roguelikes/roguelites (Pirates Outlaws, Dawncaster, Night of the Full Moon, Phantom Rose Scarlet, Meteorfall, Void Tyrant, Spellswords, etc.). Easier to replace cards, choose path within dungeon, visit shrines (to heal HP or remove curses) located at different paths. Have partner system; you don't fight alone any more. Deep customization on deck playstyle, runes on cards (adds extra effect), character talents, buffs/debuffs passives, character class, & 1-use items.

Ever wish that Disco Elysium had more minotaurs and more steampunk? Check out Sovereign Syndicate

In 2019, Disco Elysium took the gaming world by storm and showed how RPGs could focus much more on storytelling and do a much better job of emulating the feeling of playing at a tabletop. Now we're just starting to see the first wave of games that seem clearly inspired by Disco Elysium, and this one just might be the first must-play RPG of 2024. This is Sovereign Syndicate, a CRPG being made by a small indie team in Canada. Like Disco Elysium, it's an RPG that's more heavily focused on narrative and dialogue, but it also sets itself apart in some key ways. For one, it's got a unique Victorian steampunk setting that looks absolutely fantastic. Fantasy creatures like minotaurs, dwarves, and cyclopes are mixed together with grimy factories, smokestacks, and zeppelins. And it all takes place in London!
