You’ve probably never heard of the traditional Chinese twenty-four solar terms, and here in lies the beauty of the game 24 Solar Terms. It would be easy enough to create a relaxing seek-and-find puzzler, but combined with traditional myths, fables, and proverbs, you get something that’s not only fun but also educational. Now, educational might seem like a loaded word for boring, but while playing 24 Solar Terms, not only did I improve my skills for the next trivia night, I got to feed a giant white tiger in the process; how many times do you get to put those two things into a single experience?

I finished this wonderful title a few hours ago starring SIX from #bandainamcoentertainment with his yellow cape. The hand-drawn environments and the numerous puzzles to solve are well done, in some sections even #stealthgamer and #runnergameplay all seasoned with #pointandclickgames! I loved it! Here we will have to find solutions by pushing our imagination to the maximum: rotating various mazes and ladders so that Evo reaches the door that leads to the next level. Even though controlling two characters simultaneously in a mirrored world can be incredibly disorienting, Ugly’s puzzle mechanics are truly unique and blend perfectly with the game’s dark atmosphere. And though I wouldn't classify Ugly as horror, there were still plenty of twisted memories to unlock that genuinely gave me the creeps.

SHOULD I PLAY TRINE 5: A CLOCKWORK CONSPIRACY? If you’re a fan of the previous Trine titles, then Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is definitely for you, but it also works well for newcomers. I decided to take my own advice and jump into the series even though I haven’t played a single Trine game previously. Puzzling around the kingdom was just as fun as it was frustrating. The challenging puzzles, beautiful high-fantasy art, and character customization kept me engaged, even if, at times, I wanted to scream at the television.

SHOULD I PLAY MOLECANO? Play this, especially if you’re looking for something casual. Molecano combines the puzzling gameplay of Wordscapes with the strategy of Scrabble to create a fresh and engaging puzzle game where I had to create words and use them to build bridges to find food. While the pesky ad breaks annoyed me after a while, Molecano offers all the fun needed to enjoy solving simple word puzzles on the fly.

SHOULD I PLAY PLANTS VS. ZOMBIES 3? If you’re a fan of either of the previous mainline Plants vs. Zombies game, it’s worth giving this one a try. Plants vs. Zombies 3 isn’t revolutionary, and it’s certainly not the masterpiece that the original game was, but it provides great, bite-sized doses of strategic undead-slaying fun. Some fans might balk at the ways in which this entry simplifies some elements of the series, but I ended up enjoying it quite a bit more than the more money-hungry
