Children of the Sun looks like a lo-fi, pulp sendup of the Sniper Elite series, but it’s really more of a puzzle game about creating the perfect trajectory for a single demonically possessed rifle bullet. As a masked young woman, your job is to scout each location from the perimeter, line up the perfect shot, and fire—and then, as your bullet strikes your victim, redirect the bullet to continue its path into the next creepy cultist. You get one shot per map to clear out all the cultists, so you need to use every advantage available to pull it off.

A very nice story,  it's a short game but fun to play. Solving those puzzles was not easy for me.

As we delve deeper into our nightmares, the puzzles will increase our state of anguish since they will become more and more complex, here we will have to challenge logic and creativity. In a flexible illusory way our brain will start to send you signals through perspectives and physical principles to advance in this fantasy world. Each puzzle is a challenge and an improvement for our thinking, allowing us to experience an unprecedented sense of accomplishment in the process of solving the puzzles.

It's a dangerous adventure aboard a luxury ocean liner doomed to sink. It combines elements of logic and creative thinking, offering numerous levels, each requiring an unconventional approach and attention to detail. The graphics feature bright and elegant environments, creating a pleasant atmosphere for solving the puzzles. Furthermore, the landscapes are constantly changing, with rising water creating constant dangers. The only way to escape is to think quickly and adapt to each evolving scenario. As we try to escape, we'll unravel the mystery surrounding the protagonist's situation, making each escape attempt an exhilarating experience full of surprising twists and revelations. It also offers the opportunity to compete with other gamers, adding a touch of competition. It's not just a race against time, but a true mental challenge that will provide hours of enjoyable entertainment and the joy of our victories.

Charming story and characters, great music and extremely likeable protag. Surprising amount of depth and intrigue to the story in a short amount of time. All of the puzzles make sense and aren't overly frustrating. Extremely enjoyable! I've only stopped playing because of a bug in the motorcycle section (which comes very soon after the paywall word of warning, idk if this bug only effects me but still) and it was a shame because i was really immersed in the story, but beforehand I had a good few hours of fun and I'm looking forward to seeing the full game be released!!

if you are looking for a calming game to play at night, in stressful moments, or while just relaxing with your family I recommend “Wordscapes.” On top of this it also activated your brain rather than weakening it. This means it could make your mind healthier while you have fun. I have been playing this game over the past few months and have truly enjoyed. It’s a nice refreshing game compared to fast paced gameplay of FPS’s. Hope you have fun 🤩

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it, especially if you like resource management and unconventional puzzle solving. Like its predecessor, Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 lets players watch unsuspecting strangers and snoop on their lives. While the original Do Not Feed The Monkeys was set in a world that resembled the present day, 2099 takes things into the future, making way for some truly bizarre scenarios. While I was free to sit back and watch events as they played out, I preferred to take a more active role in the lives of the people I was spying on, collecting clues from their videos and scouring the internet for more information. Sometimes I made things better, and sometimes I made things much, much worse, but I always had a great time.

Back Again, with your latest bit of Indie Investigating. This time, it's Team 17 Digital's darkly funny narrative title 'Killer Frequency'- which takes the campy idea of a Slash Plot, and has a good bit of fun with it. Tune In, Check Out, Leave a Not-So-Pretty Corpse While there's plenty of stories in Gallows Creek- none invoke quite as much fear as that of 'The Whistling Man', a serial killer who ran rampant in the 50's, before the police were finally able to put him down.

Lost in Play is a near-perfect blend of fantasy storybooks and Saturday morning cartoons. This adorable adventure game stars Toto and Gal, two imaginative siblings that find themselves trapped in a whimsical fantasy world. To get back home, the two of them will have to solve puzzles, take on terrifying monsters, and make friends with fantasy creatures. Some point-and-click adventure games can be confusing or overwhelming, but Lost in Play manages to streamline and simplify the puzzle-solving process without dumbing things down. Since every character speaks in gibberish, I never had to sift through dialogue or solve riddles to determine out what I should do next.  All of the clues I received were pictures, which made them easy to figure out.

I've been a huge fan of Yacht Club's retro love letter Shovel Knight since it first released in 2014, but I had yet to try out the puzzle game spin-off, Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon. Now that Pocket Dungeon is out on mobile via Netflix, I've run out of excuses to avoid giving it a try. Good news: It totally rules. Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon once again put me in control of the delightful and heroic Shovel Knight, along with some other Knight friends I could unlock as I found them hidden away in shrines. This time, though, instead of working my way through NES-style platforming levels, I was led through a series of, well, pocket dungeons by the mysterious Puzzle Knight.

SHOULD I PLAY MOLECANO? Play this, especially if you’re looking for something casual. Molecano combines the puzzling gameplay of Wordscapes with the strategy of Scrabble to create a fresh and engaging puzzle game where I had to create words and use them to build bridges to find food. While the pesky ad breaks annoyed me after a while, Molecano offers all the fun needed to enjoy solving simple word puzzles on the fly.
