Recently, I received a commission that brought me to Irises City. I never expected to be immediately entangled in the affairs of a powerful family. I have no personal grudge against them! What's worse, I discovered that my friend's death seems to be closely related to this family. I must seek justice! Moreover, this case is connected to an unsolved mystery from 27 years ago, filled with layers of puzzles and complexities. This will be a challenging journey, but I won't give up!

SHOULD I PLAY UGLY? Give Ugly a go if you’re into platformers, puzzlers, or dark fairy-tale worlds. Even though controlling two characters simultaneously in a mirrored world can be incredibly disorienting, Ugly’s puzzle mechanics are truly unique and blend perfectly with the game’s dark atmosphere. And though I wouldn't classify Ugly as horror, there were still plenty of twisted memories to unlock that genuinely gave me the creeps.

We will control a Wizard who, thanks to his spells, will have to explode the balloons of the invading enemies, which fall from the sky, to prevent them from occupying the castle. To activate the spells he will need our reflexes and with just one finger we will have to draw the symbols on each balloon on the screen. If an enemy brings more than one balloon, we will have to draw them all to remove them, in some cases we will also be able to activate combos. Unfortunately an enemy will fall to the ground, the game will end and we will have to start all over again! The retro Pixel art style graphics are as beautiful as they are interesting and the gameplay is beautiful and frenetic! Furthermore, the fact that it is compared to the first title of the video game saga by Level-5 and Studio Ghibli says it all very well.

From the first part to the latest, every part of it is very challenging on its own. One thing unique about these games? The stories are actually connected to each other and our protagonists are very interesting in terms of personality and character.

This game blew my mind. I didn't expect much at the beginning of the game but later on the story ramps up and even it also get progressive harder. Loved every part of this game. Strongly recommend.
