This is the first time where that’s not quite the case. It is a close call, but I do think the bad slightly outweighs the good this time around. With newer heroes boasting +35% maximum attack power, all-attribute buffs, or charge attack bonuses, Takigawa’s reign has come to an end. In the past, investing heavily in Takigawa was a no-brainer—you’d get the Dark Lord set, recruit samurai to activate his Tale, and prepare Shield-Piercing books to maximize his overwhelming damage. But now, with stronger options available, it’s wiser to save those resources for heroes ranked higher in the current meta.
