Hi, I’m the solo dev of a small cat lane-strategy game called Claws of Power, and lately I’ve been playing around with a new frontliner: the ogre cat Nuba. In battle he does two things at once: he soaks damage on the frontline and still hits pretty hard. His normal swings have a chance to stun whatever he’s hitting, so fights around him always look a bit chaotic. And if an enemy’s HP drops low enough, he lets out an “awoo” and just bites them out of existence, healing himself in the process. That execute has a cooldown, but whenever it triggers it feels very satisfying. The GIFs I’m posting are from my latest test build.
