Astronite is a charming but pretty brutal metroidvania with fun level design and smooth gameplay. Bramble: The Mountain King is a very atmospheric adventure game with some platforming, puzzle and action elements here and there set in a grim fantasy world inspired by Nordic folklore. You play as Olle, a young boy who embarks on a great, but dangerous adventure through the beautiful and sometimes unsettling environments of this world to rescue his sister from the clutches of fairytale monsters. It's really about the journey in this game, all the different scenarios you come across are very memorable, but sometimes really unsettling and scary. Eventhough I didn't like all the chapters equally, because some were more like horror scenarios than fantasy scenarios, I was never bored and I was captivated by this game the whole way through.

I've seen plenty of other posts with the "Themostgenerousgacha" hashish tag, mentioning games like Blue Archive, Punishing Gray Raven, Demian Saga, etc. and I won't deny that those games are generous. They really are, but generous is all they are. If you want a SUPER GENEROUS, entirely free to play game with NOTHING locked behind a paywall, then you have to give Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe a try! Some of you who have played this game before will say that this game has paid gacha currency, and yes, that's true, but it's practically the same as the free gacha currency. Why, you ask? Well, it's quite simple, but first, I have to mention that, in RSRS, banners ALWAYS come out in pairs: One free banner and one paid banner.

(SPOILER WARNING) Oooh boy. Evan's remains has has a deep impact in my life. The story really was emotional for me and made me rethink about myself. It discussed also on the topic of life death and what one can do while still alive. It first make ls you think you're in the world of fantasy and magic but is in fact a normal reality. How much one would go to make up a whole lie just to make someone believe it's a truth and die happy is something that got me thinking deeply.

The story is quite nice but since it's a clicker it takes a bit of time to see it fully. Even then its not THAT much time either so if you like personality test and clicker games then this might suit you. Gameplay is straight forward and can get tedious. I sort of wish they would add a "Say goodbye" option tho. It would just feel right for this type of game. Personal opinion, dont take it seriously.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it, especially if you like either dogs or puzzles! Humanity is perhaps one of the strangest and most strangely addicting puzzlers I’ve ever played. I could go on about the intricate puzzle designs that incorporate jumping, floating, shooting, moving obstacles, and weighted switches; or I could focus on how the game tested my spatial awareness, logic, reflexes, memorization, and planning. What really got me, though, was the absurdity of playing as a Shiba Inu herding the masses to the light. It really got me thinking about the nature of being a human, who we follow, what happens after we die, and what you would call a dog that herds humans. I have no idea if this was intentional, but I loved these unintended consequences all the same. Add to that a very cool customization element and you've got a damn fine puzzler.
