It puts you in the position of a mayor who has to build the resources that villagers are going to need to go out there and quest on your behalf. These buildings range from inns for them to sleep in after battle to weapons shops so that they can buy gear. Along the way you will complete missions and fulfill certain requirements to increase your village rating and attract more villagers. This can be done via events, having certain buildings, or just adding to the scenery. The entire time you will be managing the cost of maintaining your facilities and the loot that you get from slaying monsters and clearing dungeons. The biggest downside is that the game’s speed modifier is locked until you complete the first world. This process can take about 5 hours. This is a huge QOL mechanic and for those that like the gameplay loop its addition only exponentially increases the enjoyment. It is easy to modify your village structure and adding and removing buildings works well compared to a lot of other games. I am happy to say that this is a great title to check dip your toes into the Karisoft developer as by all accounts this is one of their better titles. I really enjoyed this game and is a great game to just zone out and enjoy the progression to. I would recommend it as a relaxing sim title!

Most of the time good and evil are hand in hand in a dispute for the supremacy of the forces, here represented by Day and Night, trying to achieve the ultimate goal of controlling everything. Hunt the Night follows a path of despair in an atmosphere surrounded by pixels in a top-down action adventure with a steep learning curve. The player will follow the story of Vesper, an integral part of a group called "Stalkers", in the world of Medhram. This group was created to defend humanity against nocturnal creatures that were attracted by the eternal Night. One day the Stalkers, discovered an artifact called Seal, which allowed them to imprison the night and grant humanity eternal day, but with one catch… the Seal will have to be fed periodically through the sacrifice of Stalkers. This prosperous period saw its days over when Blackbone, a former member of the Stalker, betrayed his group and broke the Seal, thus bringing a new era, the era of Night.

Arto is a highly stylish, if simple adventure game with surprisingly vicious combat, but it’s plagued by some jankiness that’s severe enough to prevent progress in some cases. I don't have words to explain beauty of this game. I can proudly say that ''My happiness is immeasurable and my day is saved". This game has stunning visual graphics. Epic story. Epic music. Epic puzzles some of which can even force you to scratch your head. This pixel had me realised that pixel games can be more beautiful than a 3d realistic game. If you are wondering wether you should try this game or not. Take my advice and try it once. It is a small game but it will worth your time. Have a nice play 🎮

This time, it's Team 17 Digital's darkly funny narrative title 'Killer Frequency'- which takes the campy idea of a Slash Plot, and has a good bit of fun with it. My first PC game was "Diablo" (I'm a huge Blizzard fan!). At the age of 10, my young mind was amazed by the magical game world, sparking my lifelong love for RPG games. A beautiful game narrating a story of a young boy who visits his granny on an island.  It starts with little Sosuke packing his bags, going on a journey every morning to meet new people , explore new places, learn new things and make memories of the island. They've shown a lot of things about Japanese culture!! Other than that the game has shown many elements that can take you to your childhood days. The research was done nicely!! The game depicts multiple characters interacting with the boy each having their own story. Their stories were entertaining and it wasn't all very happy.

It makes me feel like Samurai Jack. This is the best complement I can give this game, and it's probably the best compliment I could give any game! The core gameplay is fun and tactical, combining turn-based strategy with procedural generation in a way that's not too overbearing, but just right in terms of constant fun. If you survive long enough in a run, you'll be rewarded with 1 out of 3 possible upgrades; but these upgrades will be different everytime, and can give you some very powerful upgrades.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it! Doomblade is a challenging but charming Metroidvania that gives off Hollow Knight vibes but manages to have a unique identity all its own. Stepping into the shoes of a tiny, tentacled creature known as Gloom Girl, I picked up an evil, sentient sword and set out on an intense adventure to take out the Dread Lords, otherworldly baddies who’ve wiped out the Gloomfolk and created a dystopian world. That adventure challenged my skills as much as anything I’ve played this year, but it was well worth fighting through to explore this wild, interesting world.

I had the pleasure of playing the early access of the game Ogu and the Secret Forest, and I have to say, this is quite the interesting game. .At the beginning of the game I just thought that Ogu and the secret forest was going to be a childish game with a silly story, but it wasn't long before I was taken to another fantasy realm and was claimed the hero of their lands. And I had to go do taks for them to save their world. I was pretty surprised by how much story was actually in the game, you can talk to pretty much everyone in the game, though there is no voice acting. Surprisingly there was actual combat in this game, however it was very basic. You just swing your bug net at the enemies and eventually they die.

Defense Derby has just launched it's early access in select countries. The gameplay consists of tower defense but specializes in fun PVP. The PVP game mode puts 4 players against each other with a exciting twist. Aside from the typical idea of just putting heroes on a map to defend a lane, the PVP features a currency system called derby coins. Before the round begins all players will see a random character card shown. The players will then wager any amount they desire to try and win that character card. The highest bigger wins the character and can deploy them to protect their castle. You never know how much your opponents are wagering until the end. The strategy involved makes the PVP mode loads of fun and adds way more depth to the game.

SHOULD I PLAY WRESTLEQUEST? Definitely play it if you’re at all a fan of wrestling games and old-school, turn-based RPGs. WrestleQuest may be a wrestling game, but it plays more like Super Mario RPG than AEW: Fight Forever. I played as (and fought against) action figures inspired by legendary wrestlers—and even ran into some characters officially licensed from wrestlers like “Macho Man” Randy Savage, who’s basically this world’s god. Wrestling plus RPG may seem like a strange mix, but it works beautifully, coming together as a love letter to both the drama of the squared circle and the imagination and adventure of SNES-era role-playing games.
