Back Again, with your latest bit of Indie Investigating. This time, it's Team 17 Digital's darkly funny narrative title 'Killer Frequency'- which takes the campy idea of a Slash Plot, and has a good bit of fun with it. Shoot, die, repeat. Strike Buster: Prototype is a retro-style survival shooter that reminds me of classics like Space Invaders and even more recent titles I’ve reviewed, such as ZeroVector. Although previously available on Nintendo Switch and PC, Strike Buster: Prototype is soon coming to Android phones, which is good news if you’re the type that likes highly addictive gameplay loops and beating high scores.

Mini review Mission Zero Since it's still in testing I'll give it some stack and I have a soft spot for good character designs so that adds some points. Okay I'll say this game is on a league of its own and a rare gem of a game that with some polish will shine ✨️ like the sun. It's a fusion of Dead by Daylight and the Hitman series with its stealth game play and movement. Unlike Dead by Daylight you have two attackers that must stay on a point to collect data or capture the point to say it simply and get codes to win the game. For the defenders you must find the attackers which blend in and hit them more than once to take them out completely.

I’ve been playing Resident Evil games since the series really hit its stride with 1998’s Resident Evil 2, so when a game comes along that clearly loves and manages to capture what made that series special, it’s automatically on my radar. Based on my time with the demo version of Heaven Dust, it manages to do just that, with a mobile-friendly spin on survival horror that’s clearly deeply in debt to the first

This game is very challenging and I love it. As a puzzle game fan, I was looking forward to this game and fortunately it did not disappoint. Graphic is low quality, the music is alright and the story doesn't really matter, I won't even question why some of these floating things are guarding fish.. all that matters are the puzzles, and they really did a really great job at designing those puzzles. The gameplay is nice. I really love the time jump mechanic, I think it's very creative and definitely is a breath of fresh air. This game is just not your generic puzzle games.

This game may be the best arcade game I have ever played. The most important quality of a father is watching the match. This game has it all. When combined with the things a father does, the game is delicious. It is an ideal game to kill time. Definitely play it.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Skip it for now, at least until the more serious bugs have been addressed. Arto is a highly stylish, if simple adventure game with surprisingly vicious combat, but it’s plagued by some jankiness that’s severe enough to prevent progress in some cases. Astronite is a charming but pretty brutal metroidvania with fun level design and smooth gameplay. Your mission is to get to the center of the planet that used to be your home to investigate if the dangerous entity called 'The Unknown' is still living down there. Many didn't return before you and things do not look good for you either, because you are forced to make a crash landing and now you are stuck on this planet that is full of deadly creatures.

This game in general is amazing. Sure, the graphics don't look top notch but you got to remember that this game is the father of FPS games. I love how smooth it feels to play an old game on a new phone and I just love going back to play some of my favorite old games. I love this game and definitely recommend this game to everyone who likes to play or is looking for good retro games from the 90's

It puts you in the position of a mayor who has to build the resources that villagers are going to need to go out there and quest on your behalf. These buildings range from inns for them to sleep in after battle to weapons shops so that they can buy gear. Along the way you will complete missions and fulfill certain requirements to increase your village rating and attract more villagers. This can be done via events, having certain buildings, or just adding to the scenery. The entire time you will be managing the cost of maintaining your facilities and the loot that you get from slaying monsters and clearing dungeons. The biggest downside is that the game’s speed modifier is locked until you complete the first world. This process can take about 5 hours. This is a huge QOL mechanic and for those that like the gameplay loop its addition only exponentially increases the enjoyment. It is easy to modify your village structure and adding and removing buildings works well compared to a lot of other games. I am happy to say that this is a great title to check dip your toes into the Karisoft developer as by all accounts this is one of their better titles. I really enjoyed this game and is a great game to just zone out and enjoy the progression to. I would recommend it as a relaxing sim title!

I thought this game was an Action game with pixel graphics. But the editor tricked me. In fact, the game is based on the Sokoban game, Turn-Based+ Pixel+Roguelike Game (???) ⇣⇣⇣ Characters have three unique Skills, each of which is required for successful execution, but all require three stamina per turn. Therefore, you must use all moving and dash carefully. 🫠 And please don't click on the button because this game is not an action game

I recently had the pleasure of playing the Zombie Survival game 'Dysmantle' and I was super happy with how the game played. In Dysmantle you start off as a lone survivor who has run out of food after the zombie apocalypse, and you must come up from your shelter to see what you can find. You're first tasked with finding materials to upgrade your crowbar with after finding an abandoned camp. You have to destroy the wooden chairs and barbecue stands to get the scrap wood and metal needed to upgrade. Once you have the items you go back to your camp to upgrade the crowbar. Now with your upgraded crowbar, you can break through larger obstacles. The game does have quests for you to complete in order to get your story going.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it, especially if you’re in the mood to get lost in a great story. I’d describe Fall of Porcupine as a cozy game, but there’s an underlying darkness to its narrative that gives its events a real sense of weight. You play as Finley, a small-town doctor who’s returning to work after an on-the-job injury. Finley clearly loves the town of Porcupine and its residents, but he has some concerns about St. Ursula’s, the hospital he works at. There’s a free demo that serves as a prologue to the main story, and I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re interested in the game.

🎮 Gameplay: so far everything great, the animations, graphics and value. there are free songs and purchasable songs. when doing songs you can play with up to 3 people. hosted songs can set requirements such as having certain outfits. each song you play gives you give in game currency that allows you to purchase more cords. you seem to unlock items such as character creation parts by increasing player level.

(SPOILER WARNING) Oooh boy. Evan's remains has has a deep impact in my life. The story really was emotional for me and made me rethink about myself. It discussed also on the topic of life death and what one can do while still alive. It first make ls you think you're in the world of fantasy and magic but is in fact a normal reality. How much one would go to make up a whole lie just to make someone believe it's a truth and die happy is something that got me thinking deeply.

Bramble: The Mountain King is a very atmospheric adventure game with some platforming, puzzle and action elements here and there set in a grim fantasy world inspired by Nordic folklore. You play as Olle, a young boy who embarks on a great, but dangerous adventure through the beautiful and sometimes unsettling environments of this world to rescue his sister from the clutches of fairytale monsters. It's really about the journey in this game, all the different scenarios you come across are very memorable, but sometimes really unsettling and scary. Eventhough I didn't like all the chapters equally, because some were more like horror scenarios than fantasy scenarios, I was never bored and I was captivated by this game the whole way through.

A game where you cook in the post-apocalipse! The player is "chef", a very skilled chef that is going to help his costumers with many things, such as: Marriage, finding your purpose, hunger, etc The 🎮 Gameplay is very good, with quite a few ingredients that play with the basic minigames in different ways, but I wouldn't try the recipes in real life, personally. You do you though! (My favorite minigame is frying)
