Astra: Knights of Veda is a gacha side-scrolling beat ‘em up that features a rich story and world with some really gorgeous accompanying visuals. The story of Astra is incredibly illustrated and decently acted. With the demo being fully voice-acted, it kept me engaged most of the time. It also doesn’t shy away from pretty gnarly stuff which I as a story enthusiast appreciated. Astra operates like a typical 2D side-scrolling beat ‘em up, in a way similar to ASTLIBRA Revision released back in 2022, with a basic attack, dodge, special, and ultimate. You need to use these moves in conjunction with each other to successfully clear each zone. You can also switch your characters on the fly (thanks to a big story reason) to spice things up.

They definitely know what they are doing when it comes to free RPHs will there also be a Garcha mechanic? Probably but regardless that you don’t necessarily HAVE to spend a single dime to enjoy the game. It was worth the wait tbh, now…I’m highly excited for it

crazy to think that this game still holds up so well even after 8 years of its release. this is the kind of game that you'll spend hours upon hours playing and re-playing it, I myself have over a hundred hours of playtime on steam! this game is like, crazy good. great story that progresses at your own pace, stunning art direction, and very fun gameplay mechanics overall. honestly, just buy the game and play it if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed~!
