The game is also lacking in content in certain areas, such as base building which is very limited and simplistic. The game is also very repetitive, as you constantly have to harvest resources, craft items, and face similar enemies.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it if you’re a fan of farming games. Everdream Valley has modern 3D graphics, but it feels like it could be a hidden prequel to Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon. Instead of running your own farm, you play as a kid spending their summer vacation with their grandparents. Your grandparents aren’t in the best of health, and their farm has definitely seen better days. If you’re up to the challenge, there are crops to water, animals to care for, and locations to explore. In this game, we are bringing drinks to customers as a cat. When we reach the determined amount every day, a new level is opened. Different types of drinks are added at each level. Their price goes up as well. The sounds and visuals of the game are very good. However, since it is difficult to control the cat, you constantly bump into something. This slows you down. SHOULD I PLAY PESTICIDE NOT REQUIRED? Absolutely yes. Pesticide Not Required has everything I could ever want in a Vampire Survivors clone: smooth bullet heaven gameplay, over-the-top power-ups, frogs, farming mechanics, and even a pet capybara to help me care for my plants. As an avid cat lover, I had been following this game since it was first announced. It looked amazing, the Kitty was fluffy and full of personality in every single one of their trailers, but as the release date approached, everything began to feel like a budget reduction version, cutting the style of the feline to be more smooth and polished. Playing a variety of games, particularly open world adventure games that involve traveling, meeting new characters, and having fun, is something I truly look forward to, which I assumed would be the premise here, but it turned out to be nothing more than a one-hour fetch quest that offered nothing of interest unless you're a toddler or an obsessed cat lover. You would be wasting your money on this game.
