Palworld is a survival and creature capture game set in an open world where you can build your base, recruit Pals (cute animals inspired by Pokémon), and battle. 👍 Pros: The game offers a wide variety of activities to do with your Pals, such as training them, using them as workers, equipping them with weapons, cooking them or eating them. The game doesn't take itself seriously. 👎 Cons: The game suffers from several technical issues, such as bugs, lags, crashes and poor graphics. The game is also lacking in content in certain areas, such as base building which is very limited and simplistic. The game is also very repetitive, as you constantly have to harvest resources, craft items, and face similar enemies.

Look, sometimes things get weird out here and this game definitely fits the bill. Their price goes up as well. The sounds and visuals of the game are very good. However, since it is difficult to control the cat, you constantly bump into something. This slows you down. This was such a calm and pleasant game and I think would benefit itself greatly with a challenge mode, DLC, or anything else. I'd like to keep playing it over and again, but with 100% completion, it's sort of feels ultimately pointless but still fun? It was more than just your usual deck building experience. You develop a relationship with each character and their characteristics along the journey, making it much more difficult to say goodbye once you've completed the game.

Palworld, the survival and creature capture game which is largely inspired by Pokémon, has been a hit since its release in early access on January 19, 2024. The game has already exceeded 8 million sales on Steam and Xbox, despite the  criticism of its lack of finish and its originality.  Faced with this phenomenon, the Pokémon Company finally published an official statement on its site, in which it states that it has not authorized the use of Pokémon intellectual property in Palworld, and that it intends to investigate and take appropriate measures to  protect their rights.

it’s been a wild ride since I started writing for TapTap. Since then, I was trapped in a major city-wide shutdown, moved back to the United States with a cat, started graduate school, and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, have reviewed over forty titles with TapTap. Admittedly, I never would’ve thought to play some of these games on my own. And some of these games have been gems I’ve kept on my phone and play regularly. One thing for sure is that I’ve gained a deeper perspective and respect for game developers and the tiny nuances they put into trying to make a great mobile game! The second DLC for Scarlet and Violet is out, which means the Pokémon series now has 1,025 different monsters to catch. How do the latest creatures stack up? Below, you’ll find my extremely biased rankings of every single new Pokémon in the Area Zero DLC. 15. Fezandipiti Everything about Fezandipiti’s design is off-putting. What’s that pink stuff hanging from its neck? Wouldn’t the extra weight make it hard to fly? Why does it have such a smug facial expression? And this bird isn’t just weird-looking: It has mediocre stats, it’s a huge pain to catch, and it bullies other, cuter monsters. If I didn’t care about completing my dex, I wouldn’t have bothered to catch Fezandipiti in the first place.

This game is incredibly adorable. I like reading Tsuki's diary entries now and then, and the soundtrack is soothing. The graphics are fantastic, and the characters are fascinating. It's nice that I don't have to rush things and can just watch the story unfold. Overall, this is a good game. PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it, especially if you’re in the mood to get lost in a great story. I’d describe Fall of Porcupine as a cozy game, but there’s an underlying darkness to its narrative that gives its events a real sense of weight. You play as Finley, a small-town doctor who’s returning to work after an on-the-job injury. Finley clearly loves the town of Porcupine and its residents, but he has some concerns about St. Ursula’s, the hospital he works at. There’s a free demo that serves as a prologue to the main story, and I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re interested in the game.
