This was such a calm and pleasant game and I think would benefit itself greatly with a challenge mode, DLC, or anything else. I'd like to keep playing it over and again, but with 100% completion, it's sort of feels ultimately pointless but still fun? It was more than just your usual deck building experience. You develop a relationship with each character and their characteristics along the journey, making it much more difficult to say goodbye once you've completed the game.

As an avid cat lover, I had been following this game since it was first announced. It looked amazing, the Kitty was fluffy and full of personality in every single one of their trailers, but as the release date approached, everything began to feel like a budget reduction version, cutting the style of the feline to be more smooth and polished. Playing a variety of games, particularly open world adventure games that involve traveling, meeting new characters, and having fun, is something I truly look forward to, which I assumed would be the premise here, but it turned out to be nothing more than a one-hour fetch quest that offered nothing of interest unless you're a toddler or an obsessed cat lover. Even though this is your starting quest, finding Greg actually triggers the end of the game. If you’ve delivered plenty of mail, but you still can’t figure out how to get to Greg, here’s what you need to do. Reaching Greg requires you to do some fancy jumping, so you’ll need at least fourteen Mail Scout badges to reach for locations. Once you have the required badges, an old pal of Greg’s named Jim will point you in the right direction. Jim is located in an easy-to-miss area close to Basil the bunny and Ham the hamster. Look for a long wooden bridge that leads to an area with tall stalks of bamboo.

I’d describe Fall of Porcupine as a cozy game, but there’s an underlying darkness to its narrative that gives its events a real sense of weight. You play as Finley, a small-town doctor who’s returning to work after an on-the-job injury. Finley clearly loves the town of Porcupine and its residents, but he has some concerns about St. Ursula’s, the hospital he works at.
