Cat Museum: This Is Tim Burton's Brain on Hugs

Look, sometimes things get weird out here and this game definitely fits the bill. We've got a gothica adventure-style mobile game that bends the mind with its imaginative imagery and obscure story telling / world building. I'd call it worth the try if you're looking for the right vibe on a spooky offline sesh! It's over here tho:

The Games You Need To Try! My All-Time Favorites Since Joining TapTap!

it’s been a wild ride since I started writing for TapTap. Since then, I was trapped in a major city-wide shutdown, moved back to the United States with a cat, started graduate school, and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, have reviewed over forty titles with TapTap. Admittedly, I never would’ve thought to play some of these games on my own. And some of these games have been gems I’ve kept on my phone and play regularly. One thing for sure is that I’ve gained a deeper perspective and respect for game developers and the tiny nuances they put into trying to make a great mobile game! So, here is a list of five of my favorite games I’ve personally reviewed since regularly contributing to the site!

BLACK MYTH WUKONG - IS IT AS GOOD AS THEY CLAIM?

Black Myth Wukong Developer: Game Science Publisher:  Game Science Released: August 19th, 2024 Price: 59.99 USD Sure is Black Myth Wukong has been the talk of the town in almost every community and outlet since its release in a very positive view, but if you've been paying attention to most reviews and coverage, you might notice a comments from a wide spectrum of players. It ranges from jokes to serious discussions, yet you seldom hear much talk about it in a negative view, which has a few people feeling very skeptical and questioning if it is actually good or not since you can't always take them seriously.

Is it really Pokémon with guns? Palworld is finally here, and it's actually pretty awesome

SHOULD I PLAY PALWORLD? Absolutely yes, especially if you enjoy crafting, creature collecting, and base-building. Ever since Palworld was unveiled in 2021, it’s been a hot topic in the gaming world. A Pokémon-like game with guns has incredible appeal, but the whole thing seemed a little too good to be true. I had my doubts going in, but I was completely won over by its cute creatures and addictive crafting system. If you’re after a monster-themed shooter,

Where to find Greg in Mail Time

Your very first quest in Mail Time is to deliver a letter to a mysterious person known only as Greg. Don’t panic if you’ve been searching high and low for Greg but can’t seem to locate him. Even though this is your starting quest, finding Greg actually triggers the end of the game. If you’ve delivered plenty of mail, but you still can’t figure out how to get to Greg, here’s what you need to do. Reaching Greg requires you to do some fancy jumping, so you’ll need at least fourteen Mail Scout badges to reach for locations. Once you have the required badges, an old pal of Greg’s named Jim will point you in the right direction. Jim is located in an easy-to-miss area close to Basil the bunny and Ham the hamster. Look for a long wooden bridge that leads to an area with tall stalks of bamboo.

Is Mineko's Night Market the ultimate cat-themed crafting game, or is it too chill for its own good?

SHOULD I PLAY MINEKO’S NIGHT MARKET? If you’re a fan of cats and cozy life sims, this should be right up your alley. That said, if you’re hoping for fast-paced gameplay or complex shop management mechanics, you may want to look elsewhere. Mineko’s Night Market is a laid-back game about moving to a new town, making friends, and uncovering mysteries. I went in expecting a game like Stardew Valley, but it’s actually much closer to

Deliver mail to cats and other creatures in a relaxing cottagecore world - Mail Time Quick Review

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it if you’re a fan of cozy and relaxing games. Mail Time is a sweet and occasionally hilarious game that’s all about delivering mail. While the game started me off with a simple quest—deliver a letter to some guy named Greg—I soon found myself taking on all kinds of odd jobs. Whether I was playing matchmaker, finding a new hat for a capybara, or helping characters pull off a heist, I was thoroughly charmed by

Rune Factory 3 Special blends farming, fantasy, and dungeon crawling to create an amazing RPG

Many years ago, when controllers still had wires and dinosaurs roamed the earth, there was only one farming series on the scene: Harvest Moon. The Harvest Moon series was incredible—I loved tending crops, raising livestock, and chatting up the locals. But there were times when I wanted something more. What would it be like to play a farming game with a different setting? What if there was a game where I could whack weeds and slay monsters?

mousebusters review

I finished the main story! mousebusters Such an awesome game, the storyline is chill with added comedy, so damn enjoyable. There are lots of lessons to be learned from it. There are a few bugs, like text bubbles getting cut off, but it doesn't mess with the gameplay. Even though the boss's ending wasn't what I expected, at least the peace in the apartment is back to normal. Boss, I miss you.. (。•́︿•̀。)

TRASH OF THE TITANS - A BIT TOO REPETITIVE & LINEAR

Don't you enjoy discovering a new and intriguing visually simple but somewhat complex turn-based tactical game with so much potential that is ultimately squandered due to slightly underdeveloped AI, mechanics, and frustrating RNG factors that make the game less strategic and more or less a gamble with dice rolls? That is Trash of the Titans. It's a lot of fun to play for the first time. Regardless of whether you select a high difficulty or have a good run. The maps all remain the same just blindfolded; nothing prevents you from proceeding in the same manner as last time, or pinpointing spawns and enemy starts unless you simply do not receive the upgrades and stat increases to compensate for the increase in defense and health that each and every monster will have acquired in those higher difficulties.

This game is incredibly adorable. I like reading Tsuki's diary entries now and then, and the soundtrack is soothing. The graphics are fantastic, and the characters are fascinating. It's nice that I don't have to rush things and can just watch the story unfold. Overall, this is a good game. If you prefer real-time, slow-paced games, this is a must-try! ►►►►►►►►►► If you liked my review, please hop into my profile to check other awesome games I reviewed.

I Played Stray, and Now I’ve Got Cat Scratch Fever!

Written by @Aaron Jacobs It’s here, and I’m calling it: It’s cat season! And with the release of Blue Twelve Studio’s Stray on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, why shouldn’t it be? This was a game I’d been awaiting for what seemed like a mewlenium—not only because I've been waiting to write another review filled with cat puns, oh no, but because I am and always have been on team cat, of course!

Every new Pokémon in the Scarlet and Violet Area Zero DLC, ranked

The second DLC for Scarlet and Violet is out, which means the Pokémon series now has 1,025 different monsters to catch. How do the latest creatures stack up? Below, you’ll find my extremely biased rankings of every single new Pokémon in the Area Zero DLC. 15. Fezandipiti Everything about Fezandipiti’s design is off-putting. What’s that pink stuff hanging from its neck? Wouldn’t the extra weight make it hard to fly? Why does it have such a smug facial expression? And this bird isn’t just weird-looking: It has mediocre stats, it’s a huge pain to catch, and it bullies other, cuter monsters. If I didn’t care about completing my dex, I wouldn’t have bothered to catch Fezandipiti in the first place.

SoS: A WONDERFUL LIFE - LACKS A LOT OF THINGS

STORY OF SEASONS: A Wonderful Life Developer: Marvelous Inc Publisher:  Marvelous Inc Released: June 27th, 2023 Price: 39.99 USD Harvest Moon vs Stardew Valley As we become older, younger generations of gamers are increasingly failing to appreciate the origins of gaming. Story of Seasons - A Wonderful Life is a rework of the classic Harvest Moon - A Wonderful Life. It's actually a semi-decent port of the PlayStation 2 version of the game; yet, when compared to the GameCube version, many things here have been modified or omitted completely.

What if Vampire Survivors had farming and frogs? Pesticide Not Required is my ideal roguelite

SHOULD I PLAY PESTICIDE NOT REQUIRED? Absolutely yes. Pesticide Not Required has everything I could ever want in a Vampire Survivors clone: smooth bullet heaven gameplay, over-the-top power-ups, frogs, farming mechanics, and even a pet capybara to help me care for my plants. I’ve only played the demo, but I’m already head over heels in love with Pesticide Not Required. Unless you totally hate roguelites—or frogs—this is a must play.
