This was such a calm and pleasant game and I think would benefit itself greatly with a challenge mode, DLC, or anything else. I'd like to keep playing it over and again, but with 100% completion, it's sort of feels ultimately pointless but still fun? It was more than just your usual deck building experience. You develop a relationship with each character and their characteristics along the journey, making it much more difficult to say goodbye once you've completed the game.

The game is also lacking in content in certain areas, such as base building which is very limited and simplistic. The game is also very repetitive, as you constantly have to harvest resources, craft items, and face similar enemies.

SHOULD I PLAY PALEO PINES? If you’re looking for a cute, cozy game, you’ll have a hard time finding something cuter or cozier than this! Paleo Pines is a farm sim with an amazing twist: you have a pet dinosaur. When I wasn’t busy watering crops, I could hop on my dino and ride into town. Paleo Pines is a little buggy, and the controls are kind of clunky, but I still thought it was a lot of fun. TIME PLAYED

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it, especially if you’re in the mood to get lost in a great story. I’d describe Fall of Porcupine as a cozy game, but there’s an underlying darkness to its narrative that gives its events a real sense of weight. You play as Finley, a small-town doctor who’s returning to work after an on-the-job injury. Finley clearly loves the town of Porcupine and its residents, but he has some concerns about St. Ursula’s, the hospital he works at. SHOULD I PLAY PALWORLD? Absolutely yes, especially if you enjoy crafting, creature collecting, and base-building. Ever since Palworld was unveiled in 2021, it’s been a hot topic in the gaming world. A Pokémon-like game with guns has incredible appeal, but the whole thing seemed a little too good to be true.
