Black Beacon | Android

We will take on the role of the Seer, Zero, a prophet foretold in ancient prophecies, whose mysterious black monolith will be known as the “Beacon” which once activated, will trigger anomalies beyond comprehension in the Tower of Babel! These anomalies are much more than just myths. Within them lie hidden truths, waiting to be discovered. Our task will be to lead a secret organization called: Eme-an to protect humanity from unknown dangers that will awaken an ancient sun god, and what follows is a perilous journey through time where the very existence of humanity is at stake! It is a sci-fi ARPG that boasts beautiful animated cutscenes and the characters shine most when they are engaged in heated battles and strategic combat! Additionally, we will have to chain together the coolest combos to take down huge enemies, maximizing each character's strengths for satisfying victories; it also allows you to swap characters mid-fight or mid-combo, which at least gives them some respite after being thrown by monsters.  Our choices will determine the fate of the world and will resonate through the centuries.

Caesar Was Not Just a Conqueror

Caesar is often remembered as a conqueror, but what made him exceptional was how he used engineering, logistics, timing, and battlefield control. That is why he stands out so well in Generals of Legends. He is not just a famous face from Roman history. He represents a very specific style of command: preparation, structure, and smart pressure. If you enjoy historical commanders who win with more than brute force, Caesar is one worth following.

Warhammer co-creator Bryan Ansell has died

One of the co-creators of Warhammer tabletop games has passed away. Miniatures designer Bryan Ansell, who joined Games Workshop in 1983, passed away December 30 at the age of 68, his wife Diane announced via Instagram. Diane Ansell did not provide a cause of death, but noted that Bryan had died “peacefully at home this morning surrounded by his family.” Along with the announcement, she included a classic photo of Bryan, wearing a mullet and a T-shirt with torn-off sleeves as he commanded a “Mighty Avenging Chaos Army” from Warhammer Fantasy Battles.

Dwerve is love🤩❤️ Dwerve is a TD dungeon crawler RPG where you play as the titular character who is a dwarf and battle the witch-queen Vandra and her bloodthristy troll army. Dwerve's grandpa teaches him that because dwarves are frail creatures, they need to stay behind a turret and fight. There are over a dozen turrets and traps in the game each with their own upgrade tree with 100+ upgrades. Dwerve only attacks when he stays still but when your turret is destroyed, you have to escape. You can dash through enemies every 3 seconds. Because the enemies are always targeting Dwerve, you have to move around and strategically place your turrets/traps after recalling them. This makes sure that the gameplay doesn't become stale.

After its massive success with Arknights and with huge anticipation revolving around Arknights: Endfield, GRYPHLINE drops another bomb on the mobile gaming community with their first premium mobile game, Ex Astris. Costing $9.99 on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store, it is a stunningly beautiful turned-based 3D RPG game that honestly deserves a separate console release. An unexpected crash knocks you out of the train leading you to later meet with your new companion, Vi3.

Sword of Convallaria and its multiple endings may be worth exploring

If there's one thing I can appreciate in a game, it's a good narrative. In fact, it's probably my favorite thing. I could forgive a lot if the story is tight. So, with the upcoming story-rich Sword of Convallaria promising to combine a choice-based narrative with multiple endings and SRPG gameplay in A classic pixel artistic style that brings me back to the days of old, I'm seriously considering adding it to my mobile games library.

The truth is out there - Xenonauts 2 Quick First Impressions

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it if you’re jumping up and down at the thought of fighting off another alien invasion, tactics style, but skip it if you want a complete campaign right away. Xenonauts 2 arrives in early access, and it includes what the devs describe as sixty-five percent of the full campaign at launch. You can keep playing indefinitely, but the story will halt at about two thirds of the way through, which translates to about ten to fifteen hours of campaign to play at the outset. Don’t let that scare you off if you’re a long-time genre fan, though: Xenonauts 2 is another love letter to the original

EIYUDEN CHRONICLES HH - NOT SUIKODENS SUCCESSOR!

I've played my fair share of JRPG, RPG, and story games, and there have only been a handful that have been difficult to get through, those being Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred Heroes, Tales of Eternia and Star Ocean The Last Hope. The fundamental issue is that the translation from Japanese to English was plain atrocious. I'm not talking about basic errors in the dialogue; I'm talking about whole reinterpretations of the meaning into a completely different phrase. It's like if you were asking a question like

Pick Your Commander: Cao Cao, Caesar, Hannibal, or Oda Nobunaga?

Generals of Legends is built around commanders who should feel different because of how they actually fought, ruled, planned, and changed the battlefield. For this community question, you can only build your first army around one commander: - Cao Cao: timing, politics, and battlefield intelligence - Caesar: structure, logistics, and disciplined command - Hannibal: pressure, deception, and battlefield control - Oda Nobunaga: discipline, change, and decisive force This is not just about picking the most famous name. It is about choosing a playstyle. Who would you choose first, and what kind of army would you build around them?

Persona 5 Tactica is your standard (Clean) fanservice

If you already play Persona, your chances of picking up on the game and getting into it are high; however, if you're interested in it because you believe it's a fantastic game because of how much the community loves the previous titles and you're looking to get into it, you should wait a while and play through the entirety of Persona 5 Royal because you won't be able to resonate with the characters.

Gnome King Adventures | Android

It's an action-strategy game developed by Rexobyte, recently updated on February 3, 2026. In the peaceful world of the gnomes, a disturbing shadow falls on the village: dark creatures emerge from nowhere and capture innocents, imprisoning them and spreading fear throughout the huts and woods. When all hope seems lost, he awakens from his regal slumber to face this threat. His mission is clear: travel through treacherous territories, fight hordes of enemies, free the captured gnomes, and restore peace to his land. Rescued gnomes return to the mines to generate gold, which we can spend to upgrade equipment and allow the king to enhance weapons and armor. Each territory features an increasing number of dangers, bosses to face, and strategic obstacles to overcome. Each stage features different enemies and environmental challenges to overcome with timing and tactics, including the final boss. As we progress through the world, we'll use weapons and special abilities to upgrade.  The combination of real-time combat and resource management makes for a fun and rewarding experience, with a good balance between challenge and progression.
