I've played my fair share of JRPG, RPG, and story games, and there have only been a handful that have been difficult to get through, those being Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred Heroes, Tales of Eternia and Star Ocean The Last Hope. The fundamental issue is that the translation from Japanese to English was plain atrocious. I'm not talking about basic errors in the dialogue; I'm talking about whole reinterpretations of the meaning into a completely different phrase. It's like if you were asking a question like

It's great to have so many cute characters that can be unlocked to have companions in the battle. I can even change their costume, then it has different areas too.
