It’s a free-to-play, combat-centered game show where you fight alongside your teammates in virtual arenas What sets it apart is its unique game mechanics and the fact that everything in the game can be destroyed? Gameplay The game focuses on arcade-style gameplay and game-show mechanics the premise of “The Finals” is that you’re a contestant in a virtual combat entertainment game show.

I never usually keep game reviews but this is an amazing game that made me change my mind on gacha games. This game has an interesting, compelling story that is amazingly written to pull you into the world making you want to learn more about it. Although the combat for the earlier characters are basic and mostly the same the newer characters are polished to the point that having them will change your perspective of the game. This is a testament to kuro's attention to the playerbase's feedback and their determination to push this game to its limit. It is also amazing how generous they are with the ability to unlock all characters as a f2p player. But there are some flaws with the game. Mainly being that for new players they will have to suffer for awhile before they get the good parts as the storytelling in the beginning is bad. This has been mitigated by the community with the grayravens.com website which is very useful with character guides and story summaries. The only other downside that this game has is that to get a fully functional team you need to play for multiple months if you start late. But this will be fixed in a year or so as there will be enough character selectors to get an entire team for new players. Overall this is an amazing game with amazing story and amazing characters although the old character designs are mostly bad, the new ones are so good it doesn't matter.
