Hi Everyone!  I've been eager to review this game since its release, but I held off until now. I just can’t wait any longer, so here it goes! I’ve been playing *Wuthering Waves* on both Android and PC since day one. Here’s my take on it: Storyline:  The game is set in a dark, post-apocalyptic world. You play as "Rover," who can be either male or female. From the moment you wake up, you’re dealing with amnesia, and your mission is to unravel the mystery behind it. Along your journey, you’ll meet many companions who will stand by your side. Graphics: The visuals are stunning! From the forests, ruined cities, caves, seas, waterfalls, and skies—everything looks spectacular. If you have an RTX GPU, playing it on PC is a must for the full experience. Plus, I find it more stable than the mobile version. Controls: This can be tricky, especially if you're used to auto-battling in other games. You'll need some time to adjust and practice to perfect parries and dodges. Don’t worry, though—I've had moments of burnout and instant defeats too! But once you get the hang of it, the feeling is incredible. It’s like you’re the star of an isekai movie LOL. And it's because mastering dodge and parry is key to the game’s excitement. Sound:  Initially, the background music didn’t stand out, but I’ve noticed Kuro Games has been improving it over time. Now, it feels much more refined, and I think it’ll only get better. --- Pros:  - Character Design: Beautifully done! From their costumes and movements to their voice acting (I went with the Japanese VA), everything is well-executed, including their backstories and weapons. - Generous Rewards: From the start, Kuro Games has been incredibly generous with rewards, even giving us the underrated SSR character Xiang Li Yao. - Gacha System: My personal favorite! Unlike other games, you only need 80 pulls to guarantee a character’s signature weapon—no 50/50 nonsense. Even if you’re unlucky, you’ll get it by the 80th pull. I got Jinshi's signature weapon in just 10 pulls! - Frequent Updates: There’s always a new event at least once a month, with fresh main storylines, new places, characters, and of course, freebies! - Developer Responsiveness: The devs really listen to the community. For example, I requested Xbox gamepad support for Android in their questionnaire, and in the next update, they added it! So don’t hesitate to share your feedback with them. Cons:  - Compatibility Issues on Android: At launch, the game had some issues on Android—bugs, lag, overheating—even on high-end devices like the Snappy 9 Genz 9. But the Devs have been hard at work, and the game is much smoother now compared to version 1.0. --- Conclusion:  For gamers who love a good adrenaline rush, this game is a must-play. The drama is being dragged out too long but all in all, it is still a good story. After the gameplay ended, it feels like I wanted to pull for Jinhsi now. The fact that Jue prepared her for Rover all this time 🫰🏻

The thing that throws me off is that they split functionality across different nodes. So you have to go read the Forte node and be like “okay, this is affecting my Resonance Skill. Now let me go back and read my Resonance Skill with this new information in mind…” So far none of the characters have been all that complex, but I still need to read each node like 3 times to figure out what’s going on.

I think the “brightness” being actually gamma is fucking people over. I turned my brightness up at first ‘cause I like high brightness for my games, then my game looked WAY worse, then I found out that it’s gamma and lowered that stuff all the way down and it looks MUCH better

Ok So I'm not gonna write a whole review about everything as most of us already know about most aspects of the game. I'm gonna talk about the performance on Android/Pc. For me playing PGR for this long on Android made my exceptions way to high for Ww to be as much optimised. I understand that the games are not same but still. Cons- The game doesn't lag on my low-mid end device but the characters are blurry. I've given the best settings possible,30 fps is alright.

Last log in after getting camellya and returned in 2.4. -The graphics/ Story and the soundtrack upgrades are really great!

Her old design has a terrifying, dead eyed stare. New design has a cute bow, sick bracelets and multicolored braid. Major improvement IMO

Art: 10/10 World building so far: 8/10 Probably will get better since it's still early. Lore: 10/10 Gameplay: 10/10 Voice: 9/10 Concept: 9/10 Are we finally getting a villain Mc? Wuwa might have one of the most advanced gameplay compared to other anime open world. We can run on walls, flip up to tackle obstacles while running, jumping over obstacles, etc. It's just so fun to explore especially with the I forgot the name the flame rider echo. Anyway, wuwa's character models are unique, actually making each character different from one another (ex. Taoqi) and their graphics is 🔥 character designs however, in my opinion, is one of the best maybe even the best so far in the anime open world community. Lore is good (apocalyptic fantasy!!), but they are desperately baiting you so bad with constant flirting with villains or even just other characters 😂. I wish they would add a bit more humor to add to the pot it would make it more entertaining.

This game delivers an incredible story — 10/10. I’m truly speechless. With breathtaking visuals, beautiful music, and top-notch graphics, this is the best ARPG Open-World game I’ve ever experienced. Huge respect to Kurogames. Hats off.

Normally I would always go for the waifus first but this time I just can't look past on my boy Calcharo ( aka. Sephiroth ). I just love the design, voice, play style and so on. Prepared for hours and hours of reroll to get him but pulled my boy on my first 5 star pull. To sad that it took me to the petty but can't complain. For the selective gonna go for the lolli Verina and I'm good to go. Love this game so far😍
