The First Professional League of Wild Rift to Kick off on March 19th
The league for League of Legends: Wild Rift (WRL) will debut at 17:00 on March 19th. Right now, a total of 12 teams are slated for the upcoming competitions.
On the first day, FPX will be in a matchup with TT, while JT competes against KBG and EDG competes against RNG. The other six participants are JDG, NV, OC, OMG, WBG and WHG.
For the competition system, the first stage of the Split will start on March 19th and end on April 10th. All matches are played in Bo3. The top six teams will enter the Challenger Group, and the bottom six teams will enter the Breakout Group.

WRL: JDG Defeated WBG 4:2 in Round One of the Playoffs
In yesterday’s match between JDG and WBG in the WRL Playoffs, JDG defeated WBG 4:2 in Round One in a best-of-three series.
In detail, in round one, at four minutes, Sett and Renekton from WBG ganked JDG’s Shen. However, at 18 minutes, WBG’s Renekton guided the minions and successfully destroyed JDG’s base, securing WBG’s victory in this round.
In round two, at six minutes, JDG’s Shen killed WBG’s Sett. Afterward, a team fight was triggered, and JDG killed four champions from WBG while losing only two. JDG won this round.

There were four matches in the 2022 Spring Split Stage Two yesterday. NV defeated JT 2:0, currently ranking first on the team standings. FPX defeated WBG 2:0, ranking second. In another two matches, OMG took down JDG 2:1 and RNG defeated OC 2:1.
