Torchlight Infinite is the latest installment of a much-loved series of dungeon-crawling, loot-hoarding action-RPGs. Today marks the start of the open beta, which will remain running until the full launch of the game, with all character and account progress carrying forward.
THE STORY
Set hundreds of years after the numbered Torchlight games, Infinite doesn’t require advanced knowledge of those past titles. Players select one of the five named heroes (with more promised in the future), each with their own unique class and playstyle. Then they journey out into a world where powerful Ember Tech has helped build up a wildly advanced civilization and culture...right up until said Ember begins being corrupted by dark forces and unleashing monsters into the cities, forests, and mountains of the land of Leptis.

Devs need priorities. Potential to be best current ARPG.
Everything about this game is mint and a breath of fresh air to any ARPG enjoyer...until you tell your friend to try it and realize you have no way to group or interact with them at all. Devs desperately need to fix their priorities. Stop pumping out seasons that the small playerbase will enjoy, and fix the darn base game so you can see the insane amount of people waiting to come-back with their friends.

Torchlight Infinite a fantastic action rpg experience
I recently tried torch light infinite and I am enjoying the gameplay and builds and customization so far. I've seen the game is one of the most F2P friendly action rpg games in the market today.
The customization of skills and builds on this game and the variations are fun to tinker with that allows uniquely creative builds. The world building and storyline and maps are also amazing. The enemies are varied and fun to fight. It's a seasonal game so you can pick it up and play it at anytime. I do like that this game doesn't have seasonal exclusive heroes as all the heroes and content of previous seasons are just added to the game. The skills and effects are also a very nice to look at and nicely stylized.

Q：Hi! I wonder how the "Lethal Interval" talent of Carino2 works in the extra shotgun damage part. Is it additive [dmg * (0.3 + 0.02 * stacks)] or multiplicative [dmg * 0.3 * (1 + 0.02 * stacks)] with the follow-up coefficient?
A：It takes effect in an additive manner. For the Shotgun Effect part, the Damage dealt by each Projectile will be [Damage * (0.5 + 0.02 * number of stacks)]. The base Damage provided by the level 13 characteristic for the Shotgun Effect has also been adjusted from 30% in the previous Season to 50%.

Q：Depending on the map, certain memory fragments will drop (ex. Cocooned Flame). But I don't remember seeing them in the rewards of the various gods, including the God of Machines. I wonder if drops only come from monsters that appear when entering the map.
A：Only from monsters that can drop items.
Q：As a content creator, I make content that a lot of Free to Play players enjoy. However, when I say something like "You should filter Flame Sand to make more FE per hour" I can't really show what I mean as the Advanced Auto Loot instantly picks it all up.It would be nice to be able to toggle off the Season Pass Advanced Auto Loot to show the difference for the F2P players."

The Ember's Rest Hideout is planning a non-shutdown update on April 21st, with the specific update details as follows.
[Optimization Adjustments]
1. Properly reduced the difficulty of the first 10 days in the Whispering Mist gameplay
2. Added gameplay tips to the Clock Tower interface in Whispering Mist gameplay
3. Reduced the damage of Mistville "Resident" in the story and Netherrealm by 30%, and an additional 20% reduction in Whirlwind skill damage

[Optimization Adjustments]
1. Reduced the health of some theme bosses in the story stages and all chapter bosses by 30%.
2. Increased the challenge limit for theme bosses and chapter bosses in the main story to 12 times.
3. Slightly reduced the Sanity consumption for clearing Bad Omen Steles in the first five days of the Whispering Mist gameplay.
