Dark chess, also known as half chess, fan chess, fan fan chess, blind chess, is a variant of Chinese chess with hidden messages.

Traditional Taiwanese dark chess game rules:
● You win if you eat all of your opponent's pieces. (The cannon/pack needs a piece in the middle to attack any open chess)
● Empty step 50, both sides are in the state of moving chess pieces, each step is regarded as an empty step, turning over or capturing pieces will cancel the accumulation of empty steps. When empty steps accumulate to 50 steps, the system will declare a draw.
● Forbidden hand 7 steps, can not continue maliciously chasing and killing the opponent's pieces, will be banned by the system after accumulating 7 moves.
● Surrender/disconnection or forced/abnormal departure will be considered by the system as giving up the game and losing the game.
