Roto Force

Roto Force is a new 2D bullet hell action game. You play as a slug trapped inside a shape (square or circle) and must bounce around the edges and shoot enemies. The game has 9 different weapons for you to use each with its own play style. The game has tons of boss battles that will challenge you hand eye coordination. Roto Force really feels like an old school hardcore arcade game. The graphics are simplistic with reach level having no more than 4 colors. The shape you are in will spin as you move and bounce from one end to the other. This is a fun idea but for those sensitive to so much motion it can make you feel a little dizzy at times. 

The Roto Force demo was such a refreshing surprise. It’s not often that a mobile game grabs my interest like this, but I found myself playing all the way through in a single session. It’s a simple idea, almost a retro-arcade concept: run along the ground shooting airborne targets with a variety of weapons. The ingenious twist is that the arenas are circular, and my little militarized slug could leap across to avoid danger or sunder enemy armor.

MY OVERALL SCORE 6/10 Roto Force is a high-energy 2D bullet-hell that combines fast-paced action with challenging gameplay. This twin-stick shooter will test your skill and reflexes in 9 different places with unique design filled with enemies and obstacles! • Simple controls • A pumping Soundtrack • 9 weapons that provide different playstyles • About 30 Mini-Bosses and 10 regular sized Bosses • Can be played through in an afternoon, or a weekend, or a week... (depends on your skill)
