She was initially called "Cat" and was resurrected by a pack of cats after being thrown out of a window to transform into Catwoman!  Her first appearance was in 1940 in Batman #1.  °1.  She is represented by a mysterious jewel thief hired to commit a burglary, which she disguises as an old woman until.. one day Batman unmasks her.  Her powers are: advanced speed, reflexes and agility, expert in martial arts, amazing acrobat, expert safecracker, immune to toxins, master of disguise, knows how to use whips and claws, is expert in stealth tactics (i.e. she manages to carry out actions without be noticed by enemies) and always wears black LaTeX which makes her sensual and dominating.
