Dragon and Warrior is set in a medieval village, with the story unfolding around this village as players explore the larger open world. Players take on the role of a contemporary young person who is feeling lost and experiencing hallucinations. After seeing a therapist, they are hypnotized using a time gem and transported to a medieval village called Stone Dragon Village.
Storyline:
A small village has been invaded by monstrous creatures, waiting to be saved and rebuilt. Reincarnated in Stone Dragon Village, you save the elderly village chief and become the new chief. In the abandoned mines, animals (snails, ants, wild boars, etc.) work tirelessly for you to dig for treasures. Deep within the caves, there is a giant dragon with a world-weary temperament. You quickly learn blacksmithing and alchemy and miraculously activate an ancient teleportation circle. With your efforts, the village crisis is resolved, the ancient totem energy surges, and prosperity is on the horizon. You begin trading with goblins, engaging in commerce and stock trading at the post station. Things may be going too smoothly, so you decide to venture into the dungeon labyrinth. There, you encounter trolls and evil spirits, as well as various demons and monsters waiting for you. After escaping the labyrinth, you feel there's more to this place and seek out the old village chief.
The old village chief tells the story of Stone Dragon Village's past:
This was once the homeland of the dragon warriors. Stone Dragon Village is an ancient village, and legends about it were once shared throughout the land. The village's prosperity was built on the underground mines, which frequently produced precious gems and rare forging materials. As the village grew more famous, it attracted a large number of gold diggers. One day, a prospector discovered a mysterious gem of immense value deep within the caves. From then on, more and more strangers appeared in Stone Dragon Village, including unscrupulous merchants and speculators, as well as farmers who abandoned their fields. It didn't take long for swordsmen and knights to appear... To obtain various gems, they evolved from trading and dueling to assassination and robbery. Eventually, the greed of the treasure hunters attracted many terrifying evil beings, and the dragons began to appear.
Thus began the legend of dragons and warriors in Stone Dragon Village...
