Four players are needed to play the actual game: South, East, North and West seated counter-clockwise in that order. The human player is "South", labelled "S", while the other three labelled "E", "N" and "W" are automatically played by the computer.
The game uses animation in tiles movement and sound to announce players moves and results. It has all game features such as "bunot", "tapon", "pong", "kang", "secret", "sagasa", "7 pairs", "escalera", "before the fifth".. etc. It also keeps a tally of all players' virtual winnings based on traditional scoring rules.
Beginners of the game using this app can practice and gain experience before they play the actual game. Experts can use it for entertainment and hone their skills at the same time.
