Released in 1988, "FINAL FANTASY II" is the highly anticipated second work in the "FINAL FANTASY" series. The four protagonists became orphans because of the fierce war between the Palamekian Empire and the rebels who were trying to conquer the world. The whole game centers on them, unfolding a moving and tragic dream story. This work abolishes the hierarchy system and replaces it with a "proficiency system". Players can determine the growth style of the protagonist according to their own preferences. In terms of the plot, a brand-new "word memory system" has been introduced. Remembering the key words in the dialogue has become the key to promoting the development of the plot. This work can be said to be the beginning of the series' continuous pursuit of evolution. At the same time, the game also includes two special mazes newly added in the previous transplant works-"Reborn Soul" and "Maze of Secret Runes".
