□ What is "Nijiume"? □ "Nijiume" is a puzzle that guesses one kanji character in the center of the cross so that four two-character idioms are completed. It is a standard kanji puzzle called "Wadokaichin" because of its shape. □ The secret of fun □ This puzzle can be made easily if you decide the idioms appropriately or automatically generate them, but if you do that, you can easily find the answer or have multiple answers (multiple answers). tend to However, the questions given in this app are carefully made by Kyoto University students who have Kanji Pre-1st grade, so they are good and difficult questions that are worth solving. □ Level divided into beginner and advanced levels □ At first, there were only difficult problems, but we have created a new beginner's class so that more people can enjoy it. Even though it's a beginner's class, there are a lot of puzzles that are difficult to solve, so it shouldn't be taken lightly. Of course, we will continue to add advanced problems for those who want to challenge difficult problems. □Hints when you get stuck□ You can use hints when you can't come up with only 4 letters. One character can be added to the upper left and lower right, so use it when you get stuck. □Convenient search function□ Also, when you know the answer but don't know the meaning of a two-letter idiom, you can tap the kanji to immediately search for the meaning. □ Saving and displaying the answer status □ For each question, you can see whether you have already seen the question or if you have already answered the question correctly. □ Vocabulary skills to be tested □ Beginner level problems use commonly used vocabulary, so you can increase and confirm knowledge that is useful for social life while solving problems. On the other hand, the advanced questions are more difficult than the general "Wado Kaichin". There are old idioms and new idioms, and the field is wide ranging from everyday language and slang to mathematics, chemistry, economics, linguistics, etc., so a wide range of vocabulary and creativity to draw them out are required. Of course, even if there are one or two idioms you don't understand, you can use other kanji or hints to solve them, then search for them and broaden your knowledge even further. ******** □ About selection criteria for idioms □ There are various theories as the definition of idioms or words is difficult, but in this app, based on the "creator's subjectivity", all the following criteria are generally used. I use idioms that correspond to・Frequency of use to the extent that it appears in medium-sized Japanese dictionaries (Kojien, etc.) is allowed ・Place names are allowed if they have a certain level of name recognition (example) "Arashiyama", "Arakawa", "Tsurugidake" etc. are allowed "Ikki", "Four Seasons", etc. are allowed ・Pronouns, adverbs, and foreign words with two kanji characters are allowed (Example) "I", "chuchu", "gas", "Paris", etc. are allowed ・How to abbreviate abbreviations (Example) ``Work quality (=job question)'' and ``Mankitsu (=manga cafe)'' are acceptable ・Do not use redundant words (Example) ``Various'' and ``Daily'' are not allowed □ Problem □ We pay close attention to the creation of questions, but if you think you have found a double answer, please send us an email at the bottom of the page to avoid spoiling other people.
