Unpredictable enemies: They use dice rolls just like you, and they can get unlucky too. But if all of their rolls go their way, you're in for a bad time, especially if your deck isn't flexible enough.
No dominant strategy: You can't succeed by using the same strategy every time. You'll need to constantly adapt and experiment with different combinations of cards, dice, and class abilities to find the most successful approach.
