While there are plenty of options, finding a simple and fun one-player pool game was harder than I thought. I did find such a game, but after playing it many times, I found that it easily beat the computer every time. Suddenly I realized what's wrong with this game - when you're playing against a computer, you're actually playing against a god...I mean, computers can be so simple that they can't be beaten (out of For some reason), it can also be so powerful that you lose everything. I gradually began to understand that if I wanted a good one-player pool game, then I had to break the mold — a whole new game that didn't require a computer as an opponent, but centered around scoring, boosting, taking risks, and all kinds of fun challenges.
