Top-down Extraction Game
Project GGG is a top-down action game created with Unreal Engine 5. Combining the rules of farming and survival, it delivers the exhilarating tension of the extraction genre along with the thrilling fun of top-down action.
The version being released this time is an early version under development for playtesting purposes. Although it's still in the early stages of development, we decided to participate as it provides a great opportunity to receive feedback from all of you. Please show your interest and provide feedback through the Discord channel below to help make the game even better.
Setting:
Set in future space pioneer era, the story revolves around the protagonist, who has lost his body to a gang. He becomes a bounty hunter, armed with a new mechanical body, and embarks on a journey to defeat the gang. Drawing inspiration from the wild west period and applying it to space, we have strived to capture the wild atmosphere. Subsequently, various contents will be added to enhance the game's story and atmosphere even further.Planet
The first planet being introduced this time, Homoc, is an 18-player exclusive map and serves as the stronghold for the gang "Crazy Bolt." Homoc was a former mineral mining outpost of the Galactic Federation, providing various minerals necessary for equipment crafting, as well as supply crates left behind by the Galactic Federation. When invaders intrude upon the planet, the gang's boss appears. Defeating the boss allows you to obtain the highest-grade items, so if you're confident in your skills, challenge the boss and see what you can achieve!Character Creation
As the protagonist has lost most of their body, a new body is required. Upon starting the game, you'll need to create a new body and choose an "implant" corresponding to your class. In this demo, six implants are provided, and in the future, additional implants with various characteristics will be added to enhance diversity and personalization.Skill
In GGG, you can set up to 4 active skills and 4 passive skills.
For character active skills, you are free to equip any two from the skill menu.
Special equipment like weapons and backpacks also come with equipped active skills. When you equip such items, the active skills are automatically set.
You can equip up to 4 passive skills. Initially, all skills are locked, so you'll need to unlock them one by one by earning bounties.Game Rules
Whether you start alone or in a party of up to three players, you will immediately be transported to the station waiting area. Once all 18 slots are filled, you can enter the planet.
Homoc has unstable atmosphere conditions due to magnetic storms, and if the time limit runs out, the planet will collapse. In the limited time, defeat the gangs to earn bounties and find the escape pod.
If you die to monsters or other players, you will lose all the items you are carrying, so be cautious.Field of Vision
If there are obstacles, the area behind them will be darkened on the screen, and visibility will not be secured. Additionally, entering bush areas (areas where parts of the player's body are marked red) can completely obscure you from view. In addition, you can use stealth skills to avoid the enemy's eyes, and conversely, use ward items to detect stealthed enemies or expand your field of vision.
Make strategic use of the vision system to gain the upper hand in combat!Switching Weapons
In GGG, you can equip two weapons and freely switch between them during battles.
Each weapon comes with its unique weapon skill, and unlike other active skills, weapon skills do not consume energy (MP). Utilizing this effectively by strategically switching between the two weapons and using their respective skills will be the key to winning battles.Bounty
Bounties are the most crucial asset in the GGG universe. You can obtain bounties by defeating monsters, and defeating monsters with higher stars (indicating a higher bounty) will yield even more bounties. Unlike items, bounties do not disappear even if the player dies. Accumulate bounties to purchase new equipment or unlock passive skills.Controls
