Rogue Monster Sweeper brings a new fresh take on the minesweeper style of play. Instead of avoiding mines you are trying to avoid monsters. But you can attack these monsters and get items to help power you up and continue your journey. The game is a great mix of RNG and strategy. The map is always randomized so 2 games never feel alike. I just wish the tutorial was a bit better and more hands on. The tutorial is just text with pictures that you read. I wish the game would walk you through your first match and explain things as you did them.

MY OVERALL SCORE 7/10 A great new take on the minesweeper game. instead of mines you must try and avoid monsters. But unlike minesweeper where a mine ends the game, you can battle monsters and destroy them to continue playing. Rogue: Monster Sweeper is a puzzle rogue-like game with some elements of the minesweeper game added. When you reveal a tile, you will be given a piece of information concerning what you can get from the surrounding tile. Those can be items, some useful events, monsters, or else. Get power up by defeating the monsters, collect useful items, level up, and find the goal!
