ShadowBox is a platform action puzzle game that uses light to change the terrain of space. It tells the story that in order to escape from reality, the protagonist creates a shadow box and projects himself into a fantasy garden like the paradise world. The imaginary box world is full of beauty. But the box is only his inner projection after all, and the protagonist finds that there are still falsehoods and indifference in this world. The world in the box keeps becoming complicated and difficult as his state of mind changes. When he found a new box in the projected world, he wanted to escape again—to project himself into the box again. But the box told him that there is no way to escape everything, the suffering in life cannot be avoided, and only by facing the suffering can we see the beauty of life. The way to open the second ending is to collect the eight sufferings in the world, so as to unlock the world in the box, project the light into reality, and change the life trajectory of the protagonist.
