感谢一路以来的陪伴和支持，生存日记将于12月13日迎来公测版本更新，更新内容如下：
1. 新的章节
游戏将会开放第五章节的内容，全新的区域，全新的剧情，全新的敌人。之前章节留下的伏笔，安娜的生死，也会在新的剧情中交代。此外，新区域将不再是线性探索方式，而是自由的开放式世界。欢迎来到植物区！
2.武器和时装图鉴
所获得不同造型的武器和时装会被记录在一个图鉴中，解锁图鉴可以获得属性加成。
3.分频道聊天
游戏中会加入地区频道、工会频道、组队频道和世界频道的聊天。
4.组队玩法：
可以加其它玩家为好友，互为好友的玩家可以组队，最多可以同时组两个队友，并且可以在聊天模式中聊天。
5. 增加了多条史诗任务挑战
铁锈镇、工厂和马戏团区域涌入了大量难民，同时也带来了大量新的支线剧情。其中包含《铁锈镇凶杀案？》《瓶盖收藏者》《毒气弹设计图》《资源捐献》等，每一条支线剧情都包含了大量新任务供玩家完成。
6. 增加了宠物系统
玩家可以携带可爱的机械宠物在身边一起探索冒险了，游戏中增加了大量宠物供玩家获取，这些机械宠物还可以与别的玩家进行赛跑小游戏。
7. 增加了避难所系统
玩家意外获得了一片荒废土地的经营权！玩家可以建立属于自己的避难所，修建建筑，生产资源，接纳难民，完成委托任务，打造一个新的家园。
