The developers envisioned it as a classic RPG with a multi-branch narrative, multiple path options, and a world narrative that changes based on the player's choices. It features procedurally generated content, including 15,000 towns and dungeons, with over 750,000 non-player characters.
Various guilds, temples, cults, knight orders, covens of witches, vampire clans, werewolf factions, and even werebear groups—each with corresponding quest lines.
