Story: Last Epoch combines time travel, exciting dungeon crawling, engrossing character customization, and endless replayability to create an Action RPG for veterans and newcomers alike. Travel through the world of Eterra's past and face dark empires, wrathful gods, and untouched wilds – to find a way to save time itself from The Void. Verdict: Even though this is an early-access game so far, I am very impressed with how interesting this game has been developed with very few, if any, issues going on. It is still updated constantly. If I had to choose between Diablo 4 and Last Epoch, I would select Last Epoch for the gameplay, outstanding story, and alot of other great features!

This indie title features a pretty cool time-traveling mechanic, allowing players to explore different eras and alter the course of history. The game features a deep character customization, with a variety of classes and skill trees to choose from, as well as a robust crafting system. Players can embark on quests, battle hordes of enemies, and collect powerful loot as they unravel the mysteries of the world of Eterra — past, present, and future.

Into the Dungeons and Stopping the Void! - Last Epoch Gameplay
Gameplay: So, as I mentioned before, this game has mechanics like two games, "Diablo 4 and Path of Exile," even though, in my opinion, Path of Exile has been significantly loved in the community! If you are a fan of these games, then you will like Last Epoch even though it is in Early access, so there are still constant updates going on with it. What separates it from the other two I mentioned is that another set of classes within each of the five classes goes along with it! A lot of thought goes into how you want to set up the class you choose throughout the game, but you have a very supportive community that has helped many people, and a lot of love goes into it.

SHOULD I PLAY LAST EPOCH?
Definitely check out Last Epoch if you’ve been left a bit cold by Diablo IV’s lackluster seasonal updates. Last Epoch has a lot of the good stuff that makes Diablo work at the base level, but it adds a better leveling and skill development system and combat that rarely feels mindless the way Blizzard’s action RPG frequently does.
