ITALY – Land of Wonders bringt das kulturelle Erbe und die Wunder Italiens einem weltweiten Publikum nahe. Hilf Elio dabei, 20 Funken zu finden, den Leuchtturm anzuschalten und die Sonne wieder erstrahlen zu lassen. Während ihrer Reise treffen die Spieler auf 5 Wächter, die sie bei der Entdeckung der 5 Hauptbereiche des italienischen Kulturerbes, Natur, Gastronomie, Kunst, Theater und Design, begleiten. Am Ende der Reise erwartet die Spieler eine große Überraschung: Sie nehmen den Platz von Elio ein und werden symbolisch zum neuen Leuchtturmwärter und haben fortan den Auftrag, die Schätze des Landes zu bewahren. Zuvor müssen sie jedoch mehr als 100 Puzzle-Levels bewältigen, die als 3D-Rekonstruktionen bekannter Wahrzeichen Italiens gestaltet wurden. Schritt für Schritt entdecken sie dadurch die Küsten und Berge, Städte und Schlösser, Traditionen und Mythen des Landes. ITALY - Land of Wonders richtet sich sowohl an Italienkundige, als auch an diejenigen, die das Land und seine Kultur noch nicht kennen und mehr darüber erfahren möchten - und gleichzeitig ihre Sprachkenntnisse verbessern wollen. Das Spiel kann dank einer Sammlung von 600 Texten mit Geschichten, historischen Fakten und Kuriositäten auch als Reiseführer dienen.
