Path of Puzzles: RPG Match-3

Path of Puzzles is a Match 3 game that give me a lot of Darkest Dungeon vibes. The gameplay is quite different from the usual match 3 type games you've probably played in the past. There doesn’t seem to be any deep story in this game, you just wake up in what seems to be the underworld, and you are helped by some mysterious person who teaches you how to play the game. You must fight your way through waves of zombies by using the Match 3 system in order to find your salvation. Gameplay wise you can actually line up more than one color type in order to take down the enemies.

In these thrilling match-3 puzzle games, you'll need to use your wits and strategy to take on legions of undead monsters and save the world from destruction. If the art style in this screenshot looks familiar, it's probably because you've played or at least seen footage of the great, super-challenging roguelike Darkest Dungeon. The art for Path of Puzzles looks so similar to Darkest Dungeon that it's got to be just teetering on the edge of being literally copied from that art style. That said, the reason the Darkest Dungeon-esque art stands out so much is that it's a striking, powerful aesthetic, and that remains true in Path of Puzzles as well.
