猫王国では、エビ市という、希望と夢に満ちる町がある。ここに、猫美容サロンや魚カフェ、猫帝銀行など、もっとも精緻で美しい都市施設が整っている。
だからこそ、エビ市は猫王国にいる多くの泥棒から注目を集めている。そのなか、もっとも神秘的で、たくさんの宝物が預けられている猫帝銀行は、一番狙われる場所となっている。とある日、一人の大胆な泥棒は、自分は銀行に侵入してあらゆる宝をさらうつもりだと言い張った。
こんな状況において、エビ市もっとも勇敢で情熱的な警察ミモは、立ち向かってこの町を守らなければならない。
たくさんの疑問と謎を解いた後、ミモはようやくその凶暴な泥棒と遭遇することになった。しかし、意表にでることに、一つの事実が言い伝えられ、しかもこの事実はミモを予測できぬ結末に押しつつあるのである。

1、ゲームの中、ゲーム自体を飛び越えて携帯の外の世界で手がかりを探さなければならない謎が多く存在している。それらの謎の手がかりと答えを見つかった瞬間、謎解きのプロセスはきっと、喜びとサプライズを覚えさせるものになろう。
2、これは、次元の壁を破るゲームになっている。ゲームプレイ中、警察ミモとしてゲームを楽しむのみならず、現実のなかの自分も置き換えられることになる。プレイヤーは現実生活のなかで答えを探さなければならない。

The game follows the titular detective cat Mimo as she solves crimes around town, and it's up to the player to help him piece together the clues and catch the culprit.
The gameplay in Detective Mimo is a classic point-and-click adventure style in touch format, with players tapping on different areas of the screen to investigate crime scenes, gather and use objects, and solving puzzles. You can talk to some NPCs to give you some information and interact with the environment using a variety of novel ways not only involving the touch screen, but also involving many aspects of your mobile phones like using its gyro sensors, light detection, charging, and even gameplay elements literally outside the game.
