You will fight bosses every four levels. You should watch out, their abilities are quite tricky to memorize, they have inconsistent attack patterns. Inside the laboratory, you can also get power-ups to improve your abilities. You can also unlock other characters every time you finish certain levels. The characters that you can unlock in the game have different skillsets and abilities.
