After watch dog 1 I immediately played watch dogs 2, so this is my full review on watch dogs 2 and comparison to the previous version.
This is a review from someone who has completed all main and side mission.
The game has better story and explanation to the motive to their cause and what would the enemy gain from our protagonist failures. Love that we get drone and mini car for hacking as well as I love that we get the ability to frame other by either having gang member attack at particular npc Or have police officer arrest npc of your choice, something that i wish I get to see it in the previous version. I didn't like how the profile mode looks in the game in wd2 I prefer wd1 profile mode, doesn't like how I have to go to a specific car shop to buy a particular car, don't like how in this game i can only use 3 weapon and one of them is fixed that is that i can't change the weapon, while in wd1 i can carry all the weapon which gave me the choice on how I want to approach the mission whether I want to go stealth or guns blazing but in wd2 not only can i carry 3 weapons but if I want to change the weapon I have to go the hideout to switch the weapon and the hideout has 30 sec door lock between the open world game and the hideout that means there is no gun store to refil my guns or change I have to go to the hideout each time. The lack of silencer weapon is so low, I prefer the weapons of wd1 more than in this game. The game has the rule where in order to unlock new skills I need to use skill point which can be gained by getting followers in the game or you can say getting level up but after certain level you stop gaining skill points and the only way to gain skill point is to search throughout the map to find them in hidden location do u understand how annoying it is to go each and every location just to find one skill point, I hated how they need certain ability like blackout, blackout hardly have any effect on the enemy or how we could hack others to gain money and gain maximum of 10k in wd1 but in wd2 the highest you can gain is 500 which is such a bs
OOverall i enjoyed the game but would have appreciate the game more if they did have certain game mechanics of wd1 carry over to wd2.
