The game taps into a very untapped area. Basically anime Minecraft for free. But the issue is the game was released way way way to early.
The gameplay is very very jagged and sluggish. The combat and exploration feels very stiff. And the combat system is kinda lackluster. I get the freedom of weapons. But buying the weapons skills is just not ideal.
And there needs to be more waypoints to fast travel. The terrain is not bad. But mounts get stuck consistently in mountain areas. And the monster diversity is not the best. I get there is a regional specialties. But yeah. Speaking of... The early region enemies stay in the lower level even if you level up. To the point a single shot from any weapon can kill enemies. Which can be annoying when you are trying to catch something from the early zone.
A diverse mount system would be nice too. Because water just kills your mount. Can the catching device probabilities should be tweaked with levels too.
It's not a bad game. But very much unpolished.
