I can resume this game with two names and one symbol. Castlevania (video game) + Seikon no Qwaser (anime). Not creative at all, actually the devs even used a couple dialogues from the anime, gonna be honest with y'all, there's a big difference between metroidvania and copy 'n paste, there's no problem in using an existing idea nor going for what inspired you but you need to add some originality to it, you can't just blend a bunch of ideas and that's it, it's not that hard do produce something original, for example, why there's a random Dracula in the plot and why the hell call enemies specifically demons if we're fighting against skeletons and zombies? The devs were so centered in going for a "metroidvania" game that they forgot to add some sense into the plot. Gameplay wise, lots of Castlevania, weapon, enemies, abilities, etc, the controller response is not fast enough to deal with certain situations, so you basically need to turn before rolling or else you'll roll into enemies, some of the enemies have a random attack pattern, what I personally like when it's not being used just for trolling or to add some bullshit RNG, a good example of that is the demo boss, the shot speed RNG is not a problem, except that each shot rolls apart meaning that you can get some awful patterns, the poison cloud hit box is kinda miss placed too. This game is not bad but there's nothing good in it right now, the devs will have lots of work to do if they really care about finishing this game.
