After hours and hours of gameplay I am writing this review
Pros
- Beautiful graphics
- The game is well optimized and performs well even on low spec devices
- Open world RPG with monster catching elements
- Base building is decent
Cons
- The game is full of bugs from getting stuck in invisible walls to simple dismounting and mounting animation glitches. Caught Chuchu sometimes disappear for no reason or reset entirely
- Most Chuchu are just reskinned versions of ones from previous planets with little to no effort put into skill redesign
- The game features two types of Chuchu. Some can be used in battle while others exist only as mounts. This feels counterintuitive because you still have to fight the mount only Chuchu to capture it even though it cannot participate in combat afterward. Compared to other monster catching games where creatures usually serve multiple purposes this limitation feels unnecessarily restrictive and inconsistent with player expectations
- Catching Chuchu requires no effort. Once their health drops below fifteen percent your own Chuchu automatically stops attacking and any ongoing skills immediately stop dealing damage. This makes the game feel overly telegraphed with no real consequences and leaves the player with very little control
- Controls are clunky and often get in the way of the fun
- The game is just a shell of what it is trying to be. On paper it looks like it has potential but the final product is upsetting and honestly not worth it
Overall
The game shines in presentation and optimization but the core experience is weighed down by bugs lack of design depth and questionable mechanics. It gives the impression of a project that could have been great but was released unfinished. For players looking for a polished monster catching RPG this one will likely disappoint
