It provides a fresher experience. Now you can revive teammates and even recruit enemies, certain conditions must be met for both, you will find out as you play. Some others include drone shop, gun mods etc.
Gunplay has been ruined, it's hard to tell if you're firing a gun or not, there is no visual response, you can hear the sound and see the blood splash, but the feeling that you are emptying a mag on an enemy is nothing like in the OG PUBG.
Many of the reviews say it has better graphics and stuff but it's an overstatement, there is definitely an overhaul in the graphics but only in the style and the quality is slightly improved at best.
Other environmental gimmics have been added, like trains on the troi map and a new bridge between the main island and military base island on erangel map to name some.
There are glitches and bugs that still require fixing, and it feels like instead of a complete game we have been served with Beta version.
The game doesn't run if developer option or usb debugging is on, so it might help in reduce hackers, I haven't tested if it works on rooted phones though, someone comment if it does.
With all that said, My fav part about the game is new team revival, and recruiting enemies it's fun and such a wildcard. You can drop in solo in a squad match and make squad killing good players on the map, it's fun thing.
Overall a good experience, requires a lot of polishing though
