It's a great game if you can;
Join a clan to farm bosses everyday.
Have alt accounts to not stay behind other players.
This game has week system that locks all players into progression, caps their gear level, etc.
This game is like, if Rust & The First Descendant had a baby.
Your character, items and all will get deleted after week 6 and a warning. (Except, costumes, blueprints to easy build your base and weapons back. They will get exponentially easier then when you first started. You can also transfer limited amounts of items to the new server. I would recommend you to transfer food bufs for yield boost, chainsaw and jackhammer. Outside of that, no need to worry at all. For those who want, there are new, permanent servers as well.)
If you are a solo player;
Don't mess or even chat with clans who are doing world bosses, you may join but don't really get inside the fight zone. They can get you banned for literally having fun or even outranking them in the leaderboard (The game doesn't really check what's happening and bans people over several reports.).
From what I've heard, they pay really well to the people who have contracts with the game and do videos of the game. They also can't speak bad about the game, it's what it says in the contract.
Overall, I had fun playing this game. Farming blueprints is quite time consuming. Similar gacha-like system to tier up your weapons. But, there are tricks that you can farm blueprints as f2p too. Though, much time consuming and can be buggy.
The game itself is PVE focused, but you can also play other modes as well. PvP or direct Rust like mode.
